it was awesome! Best meal of our trip. I'm a vegetarian and they brought me a special plate of rice, tofu and what I think was deep fried broccoli rabe, not sure but it was sure tasty!

We were a party of 4 adults and 3 kids and we all had a blast and thought it was hands down the best meal we had for the week. I was worried after some things I'd read on here but we really had a great meal.

FYI for anyone on the fence about going.

Thanks! We definitely want to try it in June, but I wasn't sure if it would work out since we have 3 vegetarians. Good to know that the veg meal was good:thumbsup2 Thanks:)

Thanks for the good review....we are going for the first time in March....can't wait!!

My sister's vegetarian too, this is the meal they brought her at 'Ohana :

She loved the broccoli tempura and the cubes of caramelized tofu. :thumbsup2
We're going back to 'Ohana but have a very late ADR this time, so I'm guessing if they make a special meal for her it won't be this elaborate.

That is very close to what I had minus the (what I assume are) crunchy noodles in the middle. It was really good, especially the tempura I could have eaten 12 of those :lmao:

My kids are pesco-vegetarian and loved the shrimp and the tofu...I didn't share the other stuff!

From what I read, this is a good place for kids. My kids will try new things - what has your experience been with kids and what did they like to eat from what is offered?

It is one of her favorite places too eat....

Go for it..

We were just there in October and I tell you what all the stuff they bring before the meat is fine with me...I love love love the salad, potstickers and wings....YUM!

Our steak and shrimp were a little dry this last time...Hard too peel the shrimp. The pork and Turkey were very good...I was so full!!!!!!! Still made room for the bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla icecream...:cool1:

Ohana's is my DH favorite. It will be our first dinner at WDW this coming April.
We are new members of DVC and will be a monorail ride from our home resort BLT to Ohana's. We can not wait!!!

Ohana is fun for the kids, plenty to eat, and you may have a view of fireworks from MK depending on when you are there.

Give it a try if you have never been there. Poly is a great resort to just roam around before or after dinner. Great photo ops with all those Tikis.
:cool1:

Am so glad that my DS28 will have a veggie option - I had hoped we could speak to the chef about some choices and looks like they are helpful. Our ADR is for Monday night on 11/29/10 @ 9:55 p.m. after Wishes. Hope this late of an ADR won't discourage the chefs from doing their best but it was the only time I could snag.
