Ate at Hollywood & Vine twice!

We were able to walk right in after Fantasmic Sunday night. Loved the food! Even the kids really liked it so we went back Saturday and made PS's for 11:20 when we got to the park that day. For breakfast and lunch they have Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip & Dale going from table to table for autographs and photos.
Good selection fo food and a nice variety. It was a welcome change from food court and counter service food!

On our trip last August, H & V was the surprise find of our trip. We did Fantasmic dinner package there and were very pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Yes, this is a character meal. We love this place!

It was not a character meal for dinner when we were there in August.

Only breakfast and lunch are character meals. There aren't any characters in the restaurant for dinner.

Thanks for the review. After our last visit to Mama Melrose, with the new menu, and now the change of policy with the FDP, we were thinking of maybe trying H&V for the package on our next trip instead of our old favorite MM.
Is enough of the food plain, with not too much fancy stuff? Im almost as picky as my kids.

Camcolt- The adult buffet is what I'd consider kind of fancy stuff. There's pork loin and chicken and prime rib but they all seemed to have some marinade or sauce. The side dishes were quite flavorful. The green beans were some sort of garlic ones. The cold new potatoes were tossed with bleu cheese. I really liked the food but I was in an adventurous mood! I don't eat lettuce so I can't comment on the salads. The sundae and dessert bar was fun too.

We were there on Sunday for lunch and it was very good. The kid's buffet is pretty plain, chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, etc. The regular buffet is definitely not plain. I really enjoyed the basil salmon, it was really good.

The character interaction was also wonderful. DD is afraid of Pluto and as he walked by me to get to her I told him she was a "bit" afraid of you and he was hysterical-he immediately dropped on the floor next to our table and laid on his back until dd would pay him some attention! He spent a great amount of time making her laugh and feel comfortable with him, by the time he left the table she had already posed for a picture and even let him put his paw around her!! What a patient, sensitive PUPPY!!!

I asked the server the latest they serve lunch. The last PS is at 2:30. He said if there's a parade going on at this time the characters won't be there but will return after the parade to do their last dance show at H&V which is at 3:20. The characters are not there for dinner.

I've seen it get really bad reviews
we had a character breakfast there & really enjoyed the food
and character interaction
we would definitely go back there again
