Less like sorbet, more like Mr Whippy ice cream! But don't let that put you off I think they are absolutely delicious You must try one next year

I think that it is in part also because pineapple is not as common in Europe. I never really understood the pineapple in savoury foods either...

But having said that, I had a lovely dole whip float at Disneyland last weekend, complete with frou frou pink umbrella!
