At what point should I call about a PIN??

I plan to book our trip in January and we are going the last week of August. At this moment I am just waiting for hubby to be approved that last week for his holiday's (lol and losing it if they don't approve). Than I can really book at any point. January was just my resting date to make sure we survived the holidays on budget.

So if by some wonderful act of fate and luck there is a PIN in my name, when should I look into it?

I am mostly worried I'll call, find out I got a FD PIN...but it only works if I travel before March or something. I'd rather simply not know than get that news.

So do I look into it now, or January when I am ready to book?

I would wait until you book. Makes no sense to worry about it at this point.
1. I a pretty sure there are no PINS out there for August.
2. Even if you do have a PIN right now, the odds that it will still be valid to book in January for an August trip is next to none.

Thanks, I figured as much, but lol dreaming of that big savings luck coming to me somehow. Here's hoping patience will pay off

There is a room only discount pin out there right now for August 17th on into September. I have 35% off deluxe and the rates get smaller for the other resort categories. It is the same pin that is currently out there offering FD through 3/5. That pin also has room only discounts, which go to a certain date, and then jump way ahead to Aug 17.
