We are going to do a few buffets when we are there in july and i was wandering if it is 3 and under eat free or under 3? I was looking for the answer and can not find it anywhere!

I think it's under 3 just like admission. Once they turn 3, you pay for everything. I don't mind paying for admission but $10+ for a buffet & all my kids eat is about a handful of food - ouch! that hurts the wallet.

Yes it is 3 and under that are free 3 and over you pay! I am actually condsidering moving up our trip to right before my daughter turns 3 to save some money!

lol that is what i was thinking! My dd is 3 now so i was hoping it was 3 and under. If she ate good that is one thing but she eats maybe 2 bites and she is done--i don't like the fact that i will have to pay $11.00 for 2 bites of food. Oh well--it will be an experience that won't be forgotten as we are going to do the princess characters and chef mickeys
Thanks for the info!

We were at WDW in February. My son didn't anything at a buffet (ate a few snacks from the backpack) and they didn't charge us. A few meals (non-buffet), he shared with either me or my dh. One buffet he slept right thru. He doesn't even remember the restaurant. We just asked him if he was hunger and the waitress was willing to work with us. Something to consider. My ds had just turned 5 when we went, but he varies on what he eats. If had a big breakfast, and then lunch, he didn't always want the dinner.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the suggestion. I might try that when we go to the buffets because i know she won't eat much. Maybe i will pack something in the back pack for her. I am planning on my two younger kids 7 and 3 to share alot of meals while we are there but my 9 yr. old is a big eater and can usually finish a meal by himself.

my son always tried the buffet usuually ending up eating croutons but ask the server for a pb &j and she will bring it..so AT LEAST HE WOULD EAT SOMETHING...

DS is a special needs child. Sometimes he eats like the 15 year old boy he is.....(he loves breakfast at BOMA and dinner at Crystal Palace)sometimes he doesn"t eat at all because things are to exciting, to loud, etc(He would not eat at the Garden Grill or at Chef Mickey's). We always tell the waiters/waitress' at the buffets before we eat that we are unsure if he will eat or not. They have always had no problem with this. We pay the adult fee if he eats even a little bit ....on many occasions the waiter/waitress has said that they didnt feel he ate enough and charged us for a child which is very nice. Any time we have said he has not eaten they have never charged us. We dont lie, if he eats we pay! but, for the character buffets he just gets to excited and we end up feeding him later. We had a little problem at Cindy's Breakfast. He was so excited he didnt eat anything!! He just kept clapping and laughing and pushing the food away....he would not touch anything. The waitress boxed it all up in a take out box and didnt charge us. I think she got a kick out of seeing him so excited! My advice would be to talk to the waitress/waiters before.

We did that. My daughter turned 3 in October, and we bumped up our trip, and she was basically free, for everything, except airfare.

It also gave me an easy come-back, to all the people who have the "they won't remember any of the trip because their too young" attitude. Well- she's free, so IF she doesn't oh well. ;)

BTW- she remembers more from that trip, then her older sis. :p

We are doing the same thing this year. a trip, before my daughter turns 10, and her ticket, and My way dining prices go up. I am SO NOT looking forward to that. :earseek: I think its making me feel OLD :sad2:
