At what age did your child not want to do the Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique? Is there an age limit on it?

I believe there is an age limit, can't remember if it's 10 or 12.

Every kid will be different, but this was our experience. DD was excited to do it at 4, 6, and 8. She initially said she wanted to do it at 9, then changed her mind before the trip. And never expressed an interest again.

The age limit is 12. My daughter was never interested in it.

My daughter loved her first BBB experience last year at age 7, and is wanting to do it again this year.

While BBB has an age limit th Pirates League doesn't and seems older kids even girls seem to enjoy it. In February my cousins 8 and 11 did it and enjoyed it. You see dads doing it also. We saw a whole family doing it and I think the teenager (prob 15 or 16) enjoyed it the most. Lol

So if she doesn't want to do BBB see if she would be interest in PL.

My oldest was still into it on our last trip at age 11. I asked her if she wants to do it this time and she rolled her eyes. Apparently, 12 is the new 15. Haha.

12 is the oldest allowed. My daughter acted reluctant to do it at 10.5, but once she was all dolled up and in her dress she loved every minute. She knew it was her last chance (third time overall.) The Fairy Godmothers in Training presented her with a special certificate for the occasion of Growing Up. I was in tears. This trip was the only time we took advantage of the photo shoot in the gift shop across from the Castle. The background leaves a lot to be desired, but we ended up with a couple super fun pics!

That is so sweet, I didn't know they did that! I'd be bawling for sure!! What a special memory.

Thanks! My daughter will turn 10 in October and we go in Nov.
She says she wants to do it but I would t be surprised if she changes her mind either.
The mermaid or pirate one sounds interesting...

I think I stopped when I was 10. My younger sister did it until she was 12, though.

I'm a third grade TA and in my class, there are about 5 girls who I could see getting super into it. The rest of them (aged 8 or 9) would honestly have no interest.

My daughter did it at 4 and 6...had no interest at 7 (well....she'd correct me cause she was 7 and 1/2 lol)

12 is the age limit.

It isn't something I was ever interested in as a child. I'd say most stop going around 8 or 9 and an 11 or 12 year old might feel a bit out of place there.

12 is the age limit. My daughter loved BBB at 3 and 4. We did Pirates League this year at 5 for something different. She says she likes that more.

I went at 11 & 12... there were no age restrictions at the time, though, and it was a fun experience with my mom, aunt & cousins. At that age, it was mostly about getting my hair done (only the bun was appealing... the other hairstyles offered were horrific to me at that age) & wearing a fancy dress. I chose the dresses before we left & brought them along since I had no interest in the princess costumes themselves.

My daughter did it at 12 - mainly for me though. We both had our hair curled & put up at the Ivy Salon. We bought tiaras to wear and they put them in for us. That was much more enjoyable and I got to participate. We will be doing this again on our next trip.

Also, we brought our own dress and my daughter didn't do their makeup at 12 either. It was all about the hair!

The last time DD (10) did it she was 8. That particular day she was the oldest in the place (most were 5 and under) and while she still enjoyed it, I think she felt like she was a little old to be there. When she was 9, she had me cancel the reservation before our trip. I think she had done it 3 other times before her 8 year old trip, so it might be different for an older girl that has never had the experience before. It really is a fun experience.

As some of the PP's pointed out, the age limit is 12. Our girls did it when they were 3 and 5 and we haven't been able to get them to do it since, LOL. They did enjoy Pirate's League though!
