We arrived on Aug 28. I have never seen the parks this empty in August. Other than TSM we haven't waited more than 5 minutes for any attraction.

We went to Epcot yesterday for dinner and when we showed up at 4:00PM they were giving Fastpasses with a time of 4:45 for Soarin'.

Nothing beats WDW when the crowds are managable.

Glad you are having a magical time. Hopefully the crowds will be nice in 9 days as well

That's because this is Sept. 1st.

I didn't expect to see low crowds with Free dining going on! We'll be there in less than 2 weeks so I'll be able to see it myself if it's low!:surfweb:

We just got back and couldn't believe the crowds! 11 days starting the 23rd... it seemed like we were just walking onto everything the whole time. Last week was slow, but starting the 28th- we haven't waited more than 10 minutes anywhere. This includes all the big ones. Sunday morning we got up, rode Dumbo, snow white, winnie the pooh (twice) and peter pan and it was 9:40 when we were getting off our 5th ride. The day we got fastpasses for Mission Space, the CM gave them back because "we hadn't really used them."

This morning, DD and I WALKED ON to Soarin at 11 AM! We were the only people on our Maelstrom boat and the same for that tour in Mexico, and that was at 2:30 and 3:00.
We rode some rides in fantasy land so many times yesterday the CM's were getting to know us personally. We over heard them talking about how they couldn't believe how slow it was, but we loved it. We were even watching Wishes the other night wondering where the crowd was, and we walked pretty slow yet still didn't have to wait for a bus.

Thanks for the report. Hoping we have the same luck in 9 days!!!! Enjoy the rest of your trip! :)

WOW!!!! Will be there in a few hours and leave on Tuesday!! Here's to low crowds, short wait times, having fun and loads of Pixie Dust to all!!

:yay:

We are free dining vets.. almost every September but this one :sad2: and the crowds at the park are usually pretty low compared to the rest of the year! Have fun!

This is very encouraging! Thanks for the report. I wonder if the 3 day weekend will be slow as well.

Enjoy!

I am so excited to hear this. We will be arriving on Thursday and have been wondering what the crowds are like right now. We were last there this past March for Spring Break and that was CRAZY :scared1:, so it will be very nice to be able to walk on to any ride with little to no wait :cool1:

We went the 2nd week of October a few years ago and the lines were nothing! We might have waited 15 or 20 mins maximum for the more popular attractions. We still used the FastPasses and just rode them twice! ;)

We are going on 9/11 this year and Im hoping for low crowds again.

Just got back so here is an update. Saturday and Sunday on Labour Day weekend were definitely more crowded that the rest of the week but still pretty manageable.

We did DHS, Epcot and MK on our final day and the lines for the headliners were definitely longer and required FastPasses. Luckily we did DHS first as by 10:00AM the FastPasses for TSM were up to 4:45.

Late closing at MK was a bit of a mad house. Saw more people on the streets of MK than we saw in both of our visits earlier in the week. Still managed to do Big Thunder with a 10 minute wait.
