Our neighboors stayed at the poly in November and had nothing good to say about the staff. They had an issue with the shower/tub not holding water to give their baby a bath. Maitanence couldnt figure out how to fix it, and the manager was not willing to help or move them since they were supposedly sold out. After they told us about that, we wont stay there unless we get a screaming deal.

Can anyone tell me if they like the Poly, but not the service, where do you like to stay?

Just to chime in, we stayed at the Poly the last week of January and (luckily for us ) had none of the same problems. The CM who checked us in was very friendly and handed out buttons to all of us - she kept asking silly questions to make us laugh and think of things we could be celebrating. She ended up giving us all Happy Birthday buttons because our birthdays were less than a month before. I went to the concierge desk several times for dining help, and always had great service. Our experience in 'Ohana for breakfast and dinner were fabulous. At breakfast we saw all the character not once but THREE times in the hour we were there. For dinner we had a blast with a great waiter and the entertainer got the whole family involved (she even had my husband up leading the hula parade).

Our only complaint was Mousekeeping, and it was minor. Our room was certainly never dirty, it just looked every day like they had rushed through the cleaning. The beds were sloppily made several times, and once they forgot to empty the trash. That didn't diminish our fun, though, so we'd stay at the Poly again.

We have stayed at the WL several times, and we really love it there as well. No problems with dirty rooms or bad service there, you might want to try it!

We stayed at the Poly last May and everything was immaculate. We requested Tokelau with a balcony and that is exactly what we received. I loved it so much there last year I just switched from CSR to the Poly

I guess I can toss the Poly out of my dream resorts to stay at..sorry you had such a disappointment with the Poly...
