At the bfast buffet, what do the servers get for you?

Is it similar to the buffet breakfast's at DW, where they bring you all the o.j. and coffee you want? Oh, my kids will think they died and gone to heaven. Something about the o.j. from Disney, it is soooo good. I hope its just as good and plentiful on the ship!

At the breakfast buffet at Topsiders, the servers won't bring you all of the OJ and coffee you want, but you can certainly help yourself to all that would like! It was truly a server-yourself deal. In the main restaurants when they serve a buffet (such as Parrot Cay lunch), the servers do provide the beverages, but in Topsiders and BBB it's do it yourself. And I do agree, the OJ is great!

ok, thanks. So what do the servers actually do if they don't serve anything at the bfast buffet?

They're not really "servers" per se. They clean off the tables when someone leaves and set them up for the next person. There are some cooks there who do omelettes and waffles at breakfast.

And unfortunately the O.J. is not the same kind they serve at WDW...we also are huge fans of WDW's O.J. in the dining rooms.....but on DCL they use a different kind and not quite as tasty!!! But, as said above you can have as much as you want. I have very fond memories of the breakfast buffets at the Polynesian!!!!

At the end of the buffet line there are trays with pre-filled juice glasses of apple, orange and a CM who keeps filling them up. The CM's will get your coffee for you at the end of the buffet line and hand it to you.

Also on the buffet line will be milk, choc. milk in small containers that you can pick up.

o.k, thank you. Not the same o.j. as DW? Darn. That is so good there. Oh well, we have two char. bfast's planned after the cruise, so all is good. I have a better "visual" how this buffet works, thanks again.
