Don't know about one for wait times, but I was a beta tester for eTicket Disneyland and LOVED it! Access to the DIS Boards, maps, attraction info...it was really great.
there are about 6 different apps out there for DLR, download the free or .99 and play with them. I would not spend a bunch of $ on an app. Find one you like. Interesting to see what is going on at home.
Thanks to OP and all of the comments.
I just downloaded mousewait to my DS's itouch. I looks like a great app.
Will he be able to have service once we are inside the park or is it restricted?
I took a day and watched the wait times for 3 of the top disneyland apps and Mousewaits was the most updated frequently and accurately. So use Mousewaits.

I got an iphone this Friday before my trip to DLR this weekend. I got Mousewait and Gotplans based on the stuff I read on the boards here.
I am an iphone novice but good with tech stuff usually.
Both apps worked well overall.
Mousewait was the absolute best for wait times. It was easy to update and was updated far more often than Gotplans. That was the primary reason that I wanted the apps. Gotplans did not offer wait time for all of the rides, only the main ones. That is ok, but I prefer to see them all.
Mouse wait was very easy to update the wait times, Gotplans was a little more complicated to update times. Not horrible, but I found myself constantly using Mousewait to view wait time and to update wait times. I rarely used Gotplans unless I was stuck with nothing to do for a minute.
Now I found that Gotplans was a little more well rounded as an overall app for Disneyland. It had lots of bonus features like food options, maps, etc. They both were good though.
If I had to choose just one it would be Mousewait. If you have $3.99 to spring on another, it is worthwhile I think, especially if you like tinkering with stuff.
