1. Have you taken the boat ride from POR to DTD yet? If so how long was the ride?

2. How long is the walk from FQ - POR?

3. Is FQ small enough that no room is too far away from the main area?

1. We will be doing the boat ride this week, but will be leaving from FQ I will let you know.

2. If you are not dragging my 7 year old or chasing my 2 year old the walk is 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace.

3. Yes, we are on the back side of building 2. I don't feel like anything is too far away from any room!

We have had a whole pizza there, which was really good for Disney world pizza. She and I split a shrimp po boy (think subway foot long for size) it was very good. Comes with chips or pasta salad. Don't get pasta salad. Cookies, cupcakes and beignets. All very good. The pasta salad was just not wonderful. The only negative about the food court is that they do not have snacks, kids drinks, dessert options clearly marked for the ddp. You have to ask, but all of the cast members are SO nice and willing to help. It only takes 1-2 times before you have it pretty much figured out.

We were at POFQ this past July, first time for us at a moderate, and liked it a lot.... The boat to DTD is not a race, it's a leisurely pontoon type craft the travel mostly at no wake speed through the canal system so it can take some time but boarding at POFQ, no other stops but DTD...

Resort is very compact but we wanted building 5, about 50 feet from pool and food court and a little further to bus stop... Great location... Walk to POR is quite a distance but a very beautiful and pleasant stroll ( did stay at POR one time when it was Dixie Landings for one night, huge mold issues and transferred out)... we prefer the entertainer at the Scat Cat Club over Yeehaw Bob...

Really can't go wrong with most resorts on property, some huge and spread out, some cheap to expensive, all for your own personal choice .

Oh, second thought... Love their food court, we usually stay at WL but travel to POFQ for their sandwiches, meatball, beef po'boys.... They are huge, can easily be split for two and their hot meals are great too.... Shame to stay deluxe and travel to a moderate for food but it is doable!!

Took the boat to downtown Disney! It takes 12-15 minutes.

Yee-hah Bob is at POR; Eliot Dyson is at POFQ.

Definately, if you go over to POR to see Yee-hah Bob, get there a bit early to get a seat. Once the restaurant opens and people are finishing their meals, they fill up the seats rather quickly.

I go the week after Thanksgiving, and his shows are filled every night with people standing in the hallway trying to get a peek.

The boat ride to Downtown Disney is perhaps 15 minutes tops.

From Building 7 at FQ, the walk to Riverside is about 5 to 7 minutes.

No building at FQ is very far from the main pool/food court area. We've stayed in Building 7 twice. It would be about the farthest away, and the walk is about 3 minutes to the main area.

Great resort.
