Currently packing in southern California for Orlando next week. Do you need pants or a sweatshirt for at night at Disney world. Even though it gets to a hundred during the day here, at night it still cools down enough that you need a light jacket or long sleeves. How about at Disney World? Should I pack any?
thanks

I really doubt that you'll need a jacket or long pants at night. But I always take a light sweater in my backpack. I often find that I feel cold at some of the TS restaurants.

If you think you will need a sweater or jacket below 75 degrees, take one along. The overnight lows for the next ten days will be between 71 and 75, and normally the lows are reached at about 5:00am.

Orlando also has very high humidity at night which still make it feel warm and sticky at 9pm. June also has some of the longest days and the sun sets between about 8:20 and 8:30 at night.

Yes, sometimes the AC inside may seem cool after sunset at certain locations.

Maybe just bring along a long sleeve T-shirt with you. It adds a layer and does not take too much room in your luggage.

Yeah no...it's going to be around 90s even in the evening. It doesn't cool off until real late or really early.

I never need a sweater in the parks, but I ALWAYS need one in my hotel room! Brrrr.

I agree.. at night I usually bring one along just for a TS restaurant and the buses which can be SO frigid. Outside though.. I remember being just as hot as during the day (minus the blaring sun of course).

Long sleeve tshirts are what we pack in case it gets cool. They are not as heavy as a jacket. Some can even look somewhat nice if they are long sleeve polo shirts. You can always tie it on your bag or around your waist if you have to or it can be rolled up and put in your bag when in the parks.

I've never worn a jacket or pants in June (I usually wear a sun dress at nicer restaurants). I would bring a sweater in a neutral color to wear at night in restaurants (not needed in Parks). The enclosed restaurants always seem chilly to me.

Thank you all for the great advice. Usually by this time in So. Cal. we have begun to heat up quite a bit. But for some unknown reason it is still cold. I could have put the fireplace on last night. So while we are having a cold spell it sounds like Florida is having a heat wave. Should make for an interesting vacation.
Thanks again.
