Haunted Mansion closed and emptied out for a "security issue". Carousel roped off. Security checking backpacks with flashlights around carousel

I feel like this isn't too uncommon these days.Haunted Mansion closed and emptied out for a "security issue". Carousel roped off. Security checking backpacks with flashlights around carousel

You hear about people that try to leave ashes of loved ones in HM. I think this would shut down the ride if they are caught.
Thanks for the post - I reached out to a friend who now is an Attractions Host for Fantasyland Castle Courtyard Attractions and they were not informed what was going on. I'm assuming that the Cast Members inside the Haunted Mansion tower noticed someone holding something from the cameras that may have looked unsafe and couldn't make out what it was.
Although it doesn't sound like a bomb threat as they didn't evacuate an entire land, it does sound as if it was important. To cause Haunted Mansion to become closed and Castle Courtyard being blocked off, it does sound as if security took it serious to get there that quick.
In my experience, whenever I call something in, it takes security 30 minutes at the minimum to get there. I once called in a suspicious backpack that was left on the floor for 20 minutes. Three guests reported it to me (I was in a Greeter spot on the rotation.) By the time rotation came around, it was still there. After rotation came around once more, they were searching for me to ask where the bag was. It took them just under two hours for an unattended backpack.
Another situation that brings up slow response time from our in-progress security number was from when another Cast Member at FP Merge was spit on by a guest. She was doing her ratios and at the time was a Phase 3 (100 FP guests to about 10 Standby,) so naturally, it was starting to get loud, then guests were chanting, then profanity was flying, then she was spit on. She called for security, but they didn't answer the call for about four hours.
However, if an angered Cast Member who didn't want to be at work calls Security Control from a park phone and says a bomb is about to go off inside of an attraction, they evacuate an entire land within minutes.
As Haunted Mansion is an omnimover, third shift custodial comes in at night to clean up the attraction, including the ashes that are tossed into the ride path. It shouldn't cause a ride stop or an Auto E-Stop unless a guest also drops something heavy enough to trigger a pressure sensitive mat and cause an intrusion.
*SIDE NOTE* While discussing cameras inside Haunted Mansion, those Cast Members in the control tower see some very interesting and sometimes disturbing things. For those interested in seeing what Cast Members see, but guests never see, this is a great thread to read on Reddit. http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/1qe3e7/

WOW! Reading that Reddit is hilarious and sad! Atleast two babies in backpacks??!! I'm going to be so paranoid on the next trip looking at peoples bags for movements!
I had a guy try to get on Dueling Dragons with his infant in one of those chest carriers. Yes, he honestly thought that as long as his 6 month old baby was strapped to his chest, he would he able to take him on the ride. ::facepalm::

Mansion doesn't have a tower position.
