2 days Are you ready?

Today I have to:

Start cooking for Christmas dinner...cole slaw, DH already did the sweet tatoes

Finish wrapping

Try to work on some beading...just for fun, if finished, give to DS20's GF, if not, no biggie

DS16 didn't get any slippers...I might go early to shop and pick some up, or not, he has a bunch of stuff already...

Market for few things that i didn't get at Walmart

Dinner

I am posting tonight to get a jump start. SIL and BIL are coming today...it's going to be nutty.

1- C-O-F-F-E-E done
2- make bed done
3- finish laundry last load in dryer
4- straighten living room done
5- sweep and mop kitchen if time done
6- straighten bathroom done
7- change DD's sheets in dryer
8- Talbots for gift for Mom
9- have DH exchange Pandora charms for other Pandora charms done
10- wrap FIL, SIL, and Mom's gifts
11- wrap wine glasses for MIL
12- figure out what to wear to the Nutcracker
13- Nutcracker with Mom, Daddy and DD

If it is icy, which they are saying it will be.......I will stay home and clean. and watch movies and scrap.

buy one more gift for nieces child- great nephew?
buy 3 gift cards for nieces ( I thought we had decided not to exchange gifts this year. I was wrong....)

Go to Walmart first thing this morning before it gets crowded Done and it was empty in there. I didn't even have to wait in line and there were only 5 registers open!

Dinner - hamburgers

The Nutcracker sounds like fun. I saw it once before I was married. I would love to see it again.

1-Get kiddos to school.
2-shower & get ready.
3-go to school for parties.

I am really excited, I went when I was little bitty with my beloved grandmother and then again with my parents when I was a little older. DH and I went right after we got engaged, he fell asleep.

Seems that DH has decided that HE is due the time in the basement with the wrap stuff...and I have to wait. Seems that HE had it all planned that way, but forgot to tell ME!!! Sheesh!

Well since I got a call yesterday and had to come to work for a bit this morning my first thing is get to work so I can leave. LOL

Then grab a couple more small things for DH
wrap for DH
put great-grandmas frames toghether from DS (he has three so they are all getting the same thing from Noah frames with his pictures of course - LOL)
finish wrapping
make meal plan for the weekend. I did a big shopping yesterday but I need to make my meal plan so I can see what I forgot
go tonight to get what I forgot.

Mornin'... finally motivated to post and now I have to kick it into HIGH gear!!!

Today:
Keep DD healthy! She is feeling puny.. she refuses to go to BB practice.. so I know she isn't feeling good.. working

Take DsS to BB practice and older DsS will pick him up. done

finish DH's book MUST done

put all the books into gift bags and get them under the tree.. done

OMG! Organize the tree gifts.. I have them all over the family room.. the tree sits in the corner and by a door way so you lose walk way if you put the gifts in that area.. LOL *I did pull all the early gifts and put them into gift bags for the 3 kids: so there will be no confusion on that issue!* done

Pray & than call the jewler to see if DD's gift is in.. (If not she knows it's on the way, they are just being slow) nothing in yet...

wrap stuffers
fill stockings
spot ck. kids' rooms and make them CLEAN! I'm off duty starting today w/ cleaning...
fill dishwasher and run load done
empty dishwasher
clean up scrap area; so I can scrap tomorrow and enjoy the day! done

i've been on the go since 1st thing this morning!
we had company last night that stayed forever, so i am dog tired today.

i did the grocery store- done
i'm at work now -ssshhhh
run ma to kohls after work
wrap some more stuff after that
plan what needs to be made for when i get out of work tomorrow at noon
try to make a card for sil with walk in my garden cart for her gift certificate
2 subway cards to pick up
run to rite aid
make my final what NEEDS to be done list!

have i told you that i'm the list making queen! not that i do what's on it, i just make them!

Thanks PJ is feeling better..cause she keeps irriatating her brothers!!!

Now we are praying DH can get home.. he has had to pull off the road for the time being due to a sheet of ice... Says you can't drive more than 5 mph...and if you touch the brakes you can kiss your A%%-end good bye!!
He is currently pulled off in a parking lot along w/ five other cars waiting for the traffic to thin or sand to be put on the road... Here is hoping he gets hoem tonight!!!!

Still not home.. it's been over an hour.. I hate to call because I don't want to cause an accident...

He just called and he is pulled over again.. he said there are another 5 cars pulled over w/ him... that he hopes to be home before dark....

At least he's being sensible and pulling over when it gets too bad. I'll keep him in my thoughts that he makes it home safely. HUGS!

3.5 hours and he still is NOT home!!! He is about 20 minutes from here on a good day.. and he said there is nothing but slide offs and that our county is a JOKE trying to drive through.. he said he probably would have been safer to sleep at work for the night!!!
