Today I need to:

1) drive DS to carpool

2) take DH for cataract surg 0730.

3) hover and take care of DH all day

2. do store returns that I didn't do yesterday done
3. put away laundry done

1. Work (grades are due today, as well as schedule changes--makes for a CRAZY day)

2. Dinner with KAMommy & crew

3. Get stuff ready tonight for tomorrow when I have to work late

I have a ton more stuff to do, but I know I probably won't get it accomplished today or tomorrow. It'll make Friday's list!

Update on DH...

Surg over...We were in the office at 0730, and leaving at 0930. AND let me just say it is the scariest thing when they wheel your loved one away, even for minor stuff. I got all teary...but when they had me back again in 1/2 hr. He had con'd the nurse into getting him coffee...with an ice cube...just the way he likes it...and a pack of crackers. He was flirting with the nurses, and saying I was going to take care of him all day, fan him with palm fonds, feed him grapes, while he watched a Die Hard marathon on the DVD... Yup, he's fine

Thanks for all the p&pd! You all are just the best!!

ETA: Spoke too soon...we have to go back to the Dr. He is having pain which is not normal...poor Dr!!

Glad to hear he is doing well Deb..

I know what you mean..
When DS11 was 2 weeks shy of his first birthday we had to have tubs placed in his ears.. We had just lost my Granny a 1.5 weeks before.. so you can imagine the state I was in; when they took him back.. I was lucky enough I worked at the hospital and could request the anesthesiologist.. so I requested the one I worked w/ the most and really liked.. he took care of DS the entire time and had the nurses reporting back to me... enough so that they thought we were related.. he said no, I have to keep her happy or she'll have every baby in town delivered on my shift! I was never so glad to see that child again even though he cried for ours... (and so did I)

Glad the surgery is over and ixiedust: that the pain is not serious.

Long day today. Got up late and had to rush everyone out the door so I could open the school store on time. After volunteering in the Kindergarten room today, took the littlest one to get his allergey shots and just home a little bit ago.

Do more laundry.
Vacuum the living room. Done & did kitchen too.
Put together Dopey.

UGH! Had to go grocery shopping tonight. My brain hurts from trying to figure out what to buy without the list. I was going to make the list tomorrow and go when I don't have school duty, but we ran out of milk. Gas is too much $$ to make more than one trip a week.

DD has a respiratory infection, DS6 has pneumonia, and DS7 has an ear infection,

will this ever end??????
