Been there... 3x now. It's not all that bad... but I'll be honest, it did bring tears. At the first one, the speaker said all the things that my son was going to have firsts with over the next 4 years, first drive, first love, first job...and I did want to cry. BUT, then I realized that I did a good job so far, and I'll always be Mom through it all...and I hugged my kids hard that night!

Boy, I'm hoping I don't cry... I know all the firsts.. here I am worried about her driving...and you are right... I've done a great job so far as mom...or at least I hope I have that this should be a great experience for her (them).... I know I have my DsS that is a sophomore right now..and he is doing great...but of course that is because he has me in his life! I'll have one starting HS every year for the next 3 years... Whoa!

BAMB - I didn't realize you were still having problems with your hands. Do they have any ideas?

Here's my list for the day.
1. Work DONE
2. Sit in on new troop GS meeting.
3. Send Happy New Year cards. I know I'm late.
4. Place cookie site sale orders for my troop.
5. Scrap 4 pages. I'm so close to my goal!!!

good lord woman, you know you need to bring a whole box of tissues with you and if I were there, we would need 2. My baby sure is growing up fast!

BAMB - I didn't realize you were still having problems with your hands. Do they have any ideas?

yep, she said it was a really bad case of eczema and I aggravate it by scratching at night and by constantly washing my hands. Between changing DD's diapers and OCD I am forever washing them. She gave me a really strong topical steroid and antibiotic and she wants to see me in 3 weeks. Hopefully it will get better. She did say though that the lotion I use is one of the best, Nuetrogena's Norwegian Formula. At least I was doing one thing right! And I liked her way better than the dermatologist I saw when I burned my thumb, so I don't mind going to see her again. The other guy was a jerk.

and to boot, she gave me a script for the break outs on my face too. Not that I asked but she gave me the once over and offered. Who am I to turn her down right?!

Ok all of you are here by notified that you will be helping us map out our DD's future... Just want to bounce scenerios around... I'm pretty sit in my thoughts but I have to be open minded so that is where all her DIS Aunts come in.. A 2 hour meeting..only for us to pull out of the parking lot for DS11 to call saying DS7 got sick.... poor kid will be home again tomorrow.... anyway, urgh!

BAMB- I hope your hands start feeling better! I have psoriasis which can give me fits, but I don't think it is nearly as bad as eczema. My dermatologist gave me a prescription for my acne while I was there too- it's nice when they are thorough!

PN96 let us know how we can help- I loved putting my schedule together in high school! And for the little guy!

My new knee meds are causing me A LOT more pain so I ended up going to bed early. Only 1 page done but it was the last page of my 2006 album so I can mark that off the list!
