3. Write letter about overpayment...
4. Get pullups at Target Done!

That's enough for a Monday, you know? :) Have a great day everyone!

I feel like I didn't accomplish anything today. I was in the car half the day running Dd#1 everywhere. I hope I can do better tomorrow.

I have been failing miserably at this...or perhaps perfectly my procrasinating
brilliantly...

For Monday - I will try again!!

1. Its a minimum day at school - don't forget to pick DD up an hour early! DONE! Whew

So, after failing at this last week, here I go again!

Today I will:

1. Write out cards--didn't get this done, but I did go buy a baby gift and get it fixed!
2. Clean one room in my house (my mom is coming over Friday, so it has to be clean! ;) )--made some progress, but not nearly enough!
3. Change out decorations on the outside of my house from January stuff to February stuff--done

Mickster--good luck today!!

Have a wonderful Monday, everyone!

Good Morning! Good luck today Mickster!

Good Luck Mickster!

Thanks you guys! I think all of your good thoughts made the whole telling the truth thing so much easier. She wasn't even upset or anything. I think I made it much worse in my head (or I just distracted her with the other issues we've had... :rotfl: )

You guys rock! :grouphug:

So glad it went well.. and you made a mistake.. that is hard to believe.. I know it had to be a computer error.. you actually did it right, the computer messed it up!

The funny thing is, all weekend I was trying to come up with a story that would blame the software we use. Then, I thought of the line I always say to the kids "Even if you do something wrong, I won't be too made if you tell me the truth. I'll only get really mad if you lie". Well, I totally was planning on lying to get me out of trouble. I realized that if I expect the kids to tell the truth even though you know you're going to get into trouble, then I better too. The best part is once I realized that yesterday morning, I was no longer worried about telling her the truth. And it totally worked out. It was barely a blip on her day. Phew... :)

I have been there! And I have said those exact things to the kids. Only I think I would have still stressed until the whole thing was over. I am so glad it went well.

I hear ya... I tell my kids the same thing... and I even tell my kids.. when they start the Uhm, well uh, that if you start a sentence or explanation with those words...I think you are fibbing to me.... that usually results in a quick, honest answer.. okay off to get ready to take DD to practice, come home fix dinner, get ready for the HS orientation, get DD from practice and to the HS orientation...and hope the boys will get their showers while we are gone... homework for the boys is done..but DD has more algebra to do... Always something!

I'm so glad it worked out so well!! It's always worse in your head isn't it?

get ready for the HS orientation, get DD from practice and to the HS orientation...

:grouphug: Been there... 3x now. It's not all that bad... but I'll be honest, it did bring tears. At the first one, the speaker said all the things that my son was going to have firsts with over the next 4 years, first drive, first love, first job...and I did want to cry. BUT, then I realized that I did a good job so far, and I'll always be Mom through it all...and I hugged my kids hard that night!
