At last, great news!

Thanks to everyone for your replies, just another thing to read to Amy. Today I received a call from a resident of Vintage Knolls, Amy's new residence. They just wanted me to know they're waiting for her and to assure me they'll take care of her. The only problem is I'll now have sixty new, nosey grandparents. And I can live with that!

Thanks again to everyone. I feel so loved, I called my insurance agent and apologized for cursing at her yesterday. I did, of course, point out that I was right in the first place. I try not to be an arrogant pig, but I at least come by it honestly.

I hope to be in touch soon. My parents are coming this weekend to help me give Amy a good sendoff. She gets to eat anything she wants, go to bed when she wants, and she can even have a cup of coffee Saturday morning. Life isn't wonderful exactly, but if you have to be in a storm, it's sure comforting to know you're on a stable ship.

Bring on that mountain, I'm in a climbin' mood......
