At Fort Wilderness where does your pet stay during the day.

I'm a former cast member ('95-'98) and now father of one Disney loving 6 year old. We are currently living in New York City (went to college at Valencia and UCF). Stayed at Art of Animation last year and now going to rent an RV and stay at Fort Wilderness. We'd like to bring our dog Annie (Boston Terrier) because we know FW is dog friendly. My wife and I are curious what you do with your dog when you go out for the day to a park or other resort activities. We are new to RVing and not that sure that we could keep the RV cool enough for Annie during the day. We didn't know if we would need to run her over to the Best Friends kennel located on property each day. Any insight would be appreciated.
