At EPCOT now Anna n Elsa OH MY!

The other thing they might do is make Akershus a prepaid reservation like CRT is...making it cost a lot more for even one person to skip the breakfast to get in line for A&E. Won't stop everybody though.

I don;t know if there is a different policy for each pre-paid, but when I pre-paid for other reservations, if one person did nto show we were never charged for it. Like The Spirit of Aloha show this past MLK weekend. We had a reservation for 6 and you have to pre-pay with a credit card. Only 5 of us could make it because one man was feeling sick. They only charged us for 5 people. We had the same thing at a prior visit for the BBQ and another dinner show.

The entrance is next to the shop entrance- when you are in the store shopping, you can actually view the princess meet n greet. That's how we saw them.

You can sort of see the line while eating, but the windows are frosted and they usually keep the front doors closed.

Just eat fast and consider what you pay for breakfast as a fast pass to see the princesses. Lol

Thanks!:thumbsup2

Here is this week's schedule from www.wdwent.com

Disney releases entertainment schedules like this one weekly, so it's not available further out than that.

The royal sisters from Disney's Frozen have journeyed from afar to meet new friends, and they're thrilled to have found a home away from home in the Prinsesse Plass at the Norway Pavilion!
Daily at 9:00, 10:00 & 11:00am, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:10 & 4:20pm

It's been noted that at times they may change the opening time due to staffing issues (whcih reflects that they don't yet have enough Annas and/or Elsas cast to fit all circumstances.)

When we were last at WDW (March 2012), the lines for Rapunzel were still ridiculously long, so we skipped them. How long did it take before the lines for Rapunzel died down? By March 2012, the film had been out for almost 18 months at that point.

They could also take appointments like they did for the Disney Run shoes (though that didn't work to well). You sign up and you get a time to return at. Yes its like fast pass but you don't need the fancy technology. It will be sort of like an ADR.

Or do the pager thing like they do at Dumbo.

Also, in the mean time, they should be instructing the sisters to interact less with each guest. Sorry...I know that idea darn near gives some people here a stroke. However, until they do something else to alleviate the wait times, just have people come up, maybe a quick hug, get your picture (and limit those too - no taking a picture of every possible permutation of your party) and move on to the guests and try to move the line better.

I haven't read the posts, but I think this is ridiculous and IMO another example of WDW losing touch with the magic. This is obviously a hot attraction and something they can offer easily in every park to help spread out the crowds. This has been going on for weeks and they could have easily added more of this M&G to make more kids dream come true to meet these princesses. What a shame they just don't get it:sad2:

or change the entire theme of the breakfast to a Frozen theme and do away with the meet and greet altogether, perhaps moving it to the MK or DHS, leaving Norway to be the peaceful place it used to be.

This is an awesome idea! I've eaten at Akershus before they turned it into princess dining and LOVED it. I have not gone back because I don't care to meet the princesses as I have an awkward time interacting with most of them...the non-fun ones anyway (Aurora, Cinderella, Snow. White) but Anna and Elsa have interesting personalities, and there are only two of them so I wouldn't mind a Frozen meal!

the problem with offering it in every park is that they are having difficulty casting appropriate performers for the small amount of appearances these characters have already.

Or do the pager thing like they do at Dumbo.

The problem with all of these ideas is that WS isn't technically open yet. So people can't roam around shopping, eating or spending money. They could be funneled back into Future World, but I don't see that as much of a solution. Pretty inefficient to have people make the walk into Norway, then grab a paper with a number on it, or a pager, and then move back to Future World, only to have to turn around again to head back to Norway. Maybe that is better than nothing, but far from a "fix". A true FP+ with a pre-assigned time (and much more narrow return window) would seem to be the best approach so that you wouldn't have to make your way to Norway until just before your actual time. Like boarding a flight for Southwest Airlines.

Weeks? More like months!

It's just not practical. They would be cutting off your nose to spite their face. Norway cannot handle 100 families of 4 all lined up. It can barely handle the 100 dads. That is why the CMs are instructing people to only have one person wait in line. They either have to move the girls, or go to an "appointment only" FP+ system with no standby line and only a FP+ return line. Perhaps they could take the Norway movie theater and transform that into some sort of holding tank/waiting area. Or make watching the movie a prerequisite to meeting the girls. That would shrink the line a bit.

I like this idea, maybe like they do for dumbo, you have a beeper to let you know when to get in line.

I agree with you 100%!!! Im sorry but a simple "Hi how are you Picture bye" will do just fine for now. Im sorry but there is no need for a 10 min discussion about Olafs misadventures. If you want a magical moment go see snow white in Germany.

Why not send a text or email. They did it with the Disney Run Shoes last month. At 6am you registered and then through out the day you would get your text telling you when to show up. At the time you register you did get a approximate return window. The Text would simply confirm its time to go.

Why not set it up like Jedi Training Academy. Have a kiosk set up half way between IG and the main gate and have a cm hand out return times. Or how it's does for the celebrity M&Gs during SWWs with wristbands. Or just FP+ only.

We got to the park at opening, I ran at almost full speed to Norway, got there at maybe 9:06, and it was announced there was a 3.5-4 hour wait for the princesses.
***.
And what a bummer.
My daughter is so upset.
Has Epcot not figured it out yet?????

Got to the park around 8:30-8:40 on 2/13, in the park and at the A&E M&G line by 9:13. Three hour plus wait. Was it worth it? Yes, but I'm a solo traveler with no kids or adults with me, so I didn't have to worry about someone else spazzing or needing to pee or what have you. I imagine this is much harder for adults with children.

There are a lot of good ideas here. But I suspect that Disney isn't actively working on this out of a sense that by the time it implements a state of the art solution, the over-the-top interests in Frozen will have subsided. They probably look at this as another "Flynn Rider and Rapunzel" flash mob that will move on to the next big thing whenever the next big thing arrives. I wouldn't be surprised to see that their "solution" is to convert Akershus into a Frozen Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner (don't you just love the name "Frozen Dinner"!) and leave it at that. You fight for an ADR the way you fight for one at the Castle or at BoG, and that is that.
