At Disneyland NOW!!

Four days down and two more to go! We are having a great time, but then again how can one not!

Just a few things...
HOJO's is great. Even with the construction on the garden pool which hasn't bothered us a bit. The beds are sooo comfy. I have yet to meet Lorealle but I hope to before we leave.

Crowds were pretty busy on Sunday....not too bad though. Been great this week during the day. It does seem busier at night especially once CA closes at 6. Fireworks were cancelled Sunday due to winds...and MAN was it windy!

Did Nemo....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz And I really mean zzzz. The little girl next to us actually fell asleep with her head against the sub window. I had NO idea it was going to be well..animated. I was pretty dissapointed. Glad we had a fairly short line.

Food has been great....favorite so far would be Carnation Cafe. Got a signed copy from Oscar the chef of the baked potato soup. I could live on that stuff every day!

Had wonderful seats for the parade tonight. My son loved it!
He has LOVED all the characters this trip. Had a great time at Plaza inn on Monday morning. Tigger started a balloon fight with him and they were pretty much beating each other with balloons for a good five minutes. It was hilarious!


Anyway...just wanted to check in to say all is wonderful here! Weather is nice during the day and chilly at night.
I've gotten some WONDERFUL pictures and looking forward to doing my trip report when I get home.

I don't know why but I was just expecting something totally different.
I really should be going to bed, we have our second early entry day tomorrow but the peace and quiet in the room is just wonderful!

It's so good....ask them for the recipe and Oscar will bring you a copy of it and "his tips". Nice guy, I wish he was my personal chef. We have breakfast ressies for tomorrow morning.

Hey Mommy- we just got back yesterday!

We also ate at Carnation Cafe and had the soup- it is good!

It was quite busy for us almost our entire trip so that was kind of a bummer. We did get dreamed twice so that was a nice pick-me-up!

I have not seen the dream team once this trip. They were here filming yesterday a family right in front of the Dream Suite so I am assuming they might have won?? Never can tell around here, could have been anything. I'm seeing lots of dream ears and dream fast passes. Maybe we'll have some luck in the next two days.

I was there yesterday and the crowds were definitely manageable, and the weather was perfect!

So glad things are going well and you all are having a great time! On our trip we saw a couple people with dream fastpasses and the ears, but that was about it, and we were there early everyday. It just seemed like we were in the wrong park at the wrong time or the wrong place in the right park every time.

Pixiewings, when you drive from N. CA, how long do you stay in the parks? Do you pull the kids from school or go over long weekends? I'm trying to figure out how to squeeze in more trips.

Well for our first foray into AP's is this year, we upgraded last July on our trip. We weren't sure how much we would use them so we got the Deluxe AP's, they have blackout dates. Now, we wish we had gone Premium so we would not have blackout dates but we go as often as possible. We go for long weekends and yes, we have taken the girls out of school, I think we've only done that once or twice.....Once in October they missed a Friday (we left Thursday after they got home from school) and in December they missed a Monday, to the best of my remembrance that's it. My girls are in modified year round so they have weird vacation days. We were just there last weekend, we reallllllly wanted to stay until Monday but the girls had school and we had work so we just left late on Sunday. We drove down Friday after school (I left work early and DBF had the day off) and went in the parks Friday night, all day Saturday and part of Sunday. We try not to take them out of school for vacation weekends so our next trip is in April, they are on break and we are going to drive down on a Saturday (blacked out) and we will leave the following Wednesday.
