on restaurants I dined at earlier on this trip?

I didn't do my research on this trip and didn't know about the new dining discounts with the AP, so I paid full price. If I go buy it now, will concierge or front desk adjust the charges from the last two days

I really dropped the ball on this one since I always planned to upgrade my ticket.

Why would they give you back the money if you weren't eligible for the discount when you dined at that specific establishment?

Going forward, not all restaurants offer 20% off with an AP. Some are 10% and some don't offer a discount at all.

With the AP, I've enjoyed the resort discounts, the store discounts, the tour discounts, but my biggest issue has been with getting the discount at restaurants. Doesn't seem to be consistent at all. I've seen restaurants on the list, but they'll say not on the weekend or not at busy times, etc., etc., etc.--really bugs me--I still always ask though.

As far as getting them to give the discount after the fact, highly unlikely.

There have always been some dining and merchandise discounts with the AP, but you're only eligible for the discounts when you have the AP. Don't expect an adjustment afterwards.

The specific AP discounts are listed on the AP site, but they are hard to keep track of because they vary. It is best to ask every time because a lot of the standard AP dining discounts are for specific days of the week (e.g. weekdays only) or meals (e.g. lunch only), but they're not easy to remember.
