At Brandie's request - a posting war.....

EPCOT had once upon a time these booth/screens (WorldKey) where you could book same day dining with a live operator that you saw on the screen. There were a lot of booths at Spaceship Earth and at least 1 or more open air booths in the Worldshowcase. I think you could ask questions, but not sure you could had book a room.

Oh yeah, I remember those. I never actually used them though. :confused3

I loved worldkey---had fun with the one at SE and I believe there was one near Italy or somewhere on that side of the worldshowcase.

I was around 10 at the time. Video conferencing WAS the future. Being the technology geek that I am, I would drag Dad out of bed to go make one ADR with WorldKey.

Now, Skype and ooVoo are the same concept as WorldKey.

Now that there is no cool future technology to make ADR's, we just walk up to whatever is near by. Average wait is 20-40 minutes for a table for 4 or 5.

I love meeting people at certain times, but if it is just us, walk ups just work better.

Me either, but I am determined to try one....because I love Bob so much, and that was his drink/snack.

I think they are gluten free so next time we are there I am going to try one for sure!

:) I had an Atari 2600 in the 80s along with a Vic20 and had used Commodore 64 in elementary school to play Oregon Trail.

You've never had a Dole Whip? :faint: Well, then, that is what we need to do for sure!

Kevin is right when he says they are very sweet, I can't finish one, but when Bawb said they are sooooooooooo good he wasn't kidding.

We had an Atari as well. I loved Space Invaders. We used punch cards in high school for our basic computer programming class.

I think that my middle and highschool used mostly Apples with some IBM PCs too in the computer labs.

Tom will be known as I'mtooTiredtoPost for a night or so.

:cool2: <--- he is going to need his sunglasses tomorrow morningbecause of the lack of sleep.

Skip--take it easy on me...I need to go to town tomorrow to switch out my lenses and other errands.

Off to bed for me, work comes early tomorrow...well today actually.

Can't wait to see what page we are on tomorrow. Nite All! :goodvibes
