At Aulani right now!

hi all

Just wanted to check in and say hi! We've been here at Aulani for six days now and it's truly beautiful!

We've got two more days here (we leave for La/disneyland on Sunday), so if you have any questions, I could try to find out things for you in the next 48 hours!!

Btw - I have (as promised!), started my first ever trip report, and last night I managed to get it all up to date with the Aulani pictures - so hopefully it will be useful to some of you!

Just wanted to say thank you all once again for all of the help and support you've given me over the past two years whilst I've been planning this trip (especially in the three weeks running up to the trip when I thought we'd have to cancel due to Steve breaking his achilles!) - I'm so glad we still came - it hasn't stopped us doing a thing & we're having an amazing time!

Starlit Hui is still Thursdays and Sundays, according to the hotel operator I talked to a few days ago. Was that correct for your stay? I think it changes to 3x/week in September?

Starlit hui has been on three times this week - sunday, tuesday and thursday (although it was cancelled on Thursday due to rain - and the rain must have been brief as we didn't see it!!)

So glad that you've both enjoyed it - I'm just so grateful for all of the support ive received on the boards over the years, that it's nice to feel like I've given something back!

This time next month we will be in Aulani with family and friends. I am old enough to have thought the plane ride from the east coast was too much, since we have "been there, done Hawaii." With our children we did a cruise of Hawaii in 1992, and have done lots of touristy things, but when Disney built Aulani I knew I was tempted, and of course, I have given into the temptation!

I am so glad you went, OP, and are enjoying yourselves so much!
