At a complete loss!

My family will be in the San Diego area towards the end of October this year. I am trying to convince them to spend at least 1 day at the parks, hopefully 2 and if by miracle 3.

I am at a complete loss at how to start planning and convincing them though. I have been to WDW many times, but only to Disneyland once and never to DCA.

I will be 20, my fiance will be 22 and my sister will be 17. My parents and possibly my grandparents will also be going. Any suggestions, tips, hints are welcome. I need touring plans to fit everything and shows to see and places to eat.

Also, We dont want to skip WDW attractions because we want to compare. LOL. TIA!!!
