well I guess there will be no rates or codes for us this year, maybe it's just me,but I don't remember spring break being blacked out before?? The exact week we can go is the week that the rates will not apply?!:confused3
What a bummer, if I can't get some kind of rate or maybe a good pin code soon then we may definately be looking at Universal this year.....
I'm assuming that Disney knows which week is the biggest week for spring break for schools in Florida so this is why they are doing this? Kinda sucks, even though it's most of our kids spring break doesn't mean we can afford it...oh well, we'll see how it goes, here's to wishing for some kind of pin code or something!!!!;)

Is your spring break around Easter? They definitely have blacked out those dates, which stinks for folks. I'm glad here in TX we do spring break in March, however I hate that we have to pay PEAK rates at Disney. At least I was able to use my PIN for our week!

yup the last week of March going into Apr., it's a bummer, holing out for something though, I really want my Disney fix,but if it's everyone's spring break that means more crowds then usual which makes DH and DS(17) grouchy so it may be either Universal or the mountains again for us this year, we'll see how it goes!;)
I'm so happy for you that you were able to use your pin, seems like everytime I do get one in a email it's during a time we can't go, lol, oh wel:confused3
Love your family pic by the way, to cute of a family!
have fun when you go back!!:goodvibes

Thanks! Large crowds do make for grumpy folks. I'm hoping ONE DAY to go during a "non peak" time. We will see. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about pulling my kids out of school. It was/is hard enough letting them miss 1 (possibly 2) weekends of sports when we go.

yeah I understand I've thought of the same thing, you could always go on a weekend, but then still have to stay out of school a couple days?? We did take them out for one day for the MVMCP,being most are on School days we didn't have a choice, sometimes schools are pretty good about if you ask ahead of time and get their work?? Worth a try??:confused3

Here in NJ I have always been pretty lucky with school and lower rates. Our schools don't go back until after Labor day and the rates go down to value rates mid Aug. Although hurricane season and very hot, still better rates. We have always been pretty lucky with the weather in WDW. The worst was the beginning of Aug 2003 when we stayed at WL. It rained in buckets every day almost all day as well not just the afternoon FL showers.

I'm thinking maybe one year at Christmas time we will go... maybe catch it on the front side of Thanksgiving, or the week after, and do like you mentioned and miss a day or two. We would have to fly then, and of course we could airfare for all of us for about what it will cost to drive. Right now, I'm watching airfare... trying to get 5 tickets for less than $1000. Not happening yet, but I am hopefull for a good ding fare on SW next month. ;)

I would hate hurricane season... just because living in Houston I hate the humidity that we have now! If I'm going on vacation... I want to escape this miserable weather and heat. :rotfl: I do like spring break at WDW, because the temp is perfect. I think early fall will be good as well. I'm use to the humidity, but that doesn't mean I *like* the humidity. ;)

it is official, we won't be making it to Disney for Spring Break. Just to pricey, they have blacked out the dates for the resorts and also now for the 4 day tickets. Please no flaming, I know that most out of state have to pay full rack prices, we're just a on a budget type of family and our Fl. rest. status really helps us. Oh well, maybe we can fit in a quick MNSSH or MVMCP trip this year or something.
Hope everyone has a magical time with their trips this year.:goodvibes
We'll make the best of ours, maybe the mountains again or Busch Gardens or even maybe Wild Adventures??:confused3;)
