We are staying 11 nights this trips, but in order to stay so long we have to stick with a stict budget. We want to stay at the Poly. (1st time ever, so excited!), but the only way we can afford the Poly. is if we stay 5 nights at All Stars. I wanted movies, but got Music. I've already stayed there and we liked it, but my goal is to stay at every Dis property at least once, soooooooo I am considering spending the extra $100 to stay at CBR. Should I put ourselves slightly over budget and go with the mod. or just stick with ASMU?? And is CBR a good choice. I have already stayed at POFQ and not tooo interested in RS or CRS.

We just stayed at the Poly for the first time this past weekend. It was great! You will love it.

As far as CBR vs. ASMusic you can't lose either way. Since you have already stayed at the Music, you know it is a great. The CBR is a great hotel. All things considered (location, room size, food court, pools, transportation, and $) it is my favorite. The food court is excellent and the rooms are a bit larger than the other moderates. There are a lot of activities at the CBR to enjoy including watching the Epcot fireworks.

No matter where you stay, I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

:D :D :D :D :D:) :) :) :D :D :D :D :D

We stayed at Poly on our first trip....You will love it!! On our second, without the kids we were at ASMu. We didn't care for it very much. It was very good for a hotel but not for a WDW resort.

How do I put this without sounding snobbish? We really like being ON VACATION when we are on vacation. We really felt a signifacant difference in vacations as a whole when we stayed at the Poly. We get next to no time together as a family..or a couple for that matter.. so when we go on vacation we spend the extra money on things that enhance our vacation.

We have been able to prioritize our wants in the past and will hopefully be able to in the future. That will be the only way that we can stay at the more expensive resorts.

I will say that if my choices were to stay home or cut my trip short to stay at a deluxe...AS here we come!

NHBelle:

I personally think that CBR is worth paying an extra $100 (total, right??) to stay there VS the All Stars, especially since you said you'd like to try each resort! :)

If you haven't seen them yet, take a look at my web pages, they have a lot of pictures and some other info about CBR on them. :)

I went with my brother, sister in law, and niece a couple months ago, and we stayed at CBR. This was their very first time staying onsite and they were extremely impressed! And they usually take VERY nice vacations, so I was secretly worried about whether they'd like it as much as I do, or not :D

I think you will enjoy CBR. Just be sure to request a room close to food court, and you won't have a long walk to anything! :)

If you have any specific questions about CBR, just ask and I'll try to help! :)

I have stayed at both CBR and ASMU. SPEND THE EXTRA AND GO FOR CBR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If $100 won't cause any trouble then definately go for it. I love CBR and it is a wonderful place to say. Just having the lake at the resorts makes it seem nicer. I loved ASMU too though.

Okay...I hope I don't get slammed! We just returned last week from our stay at CBR, both previous trips were at ASMusic. I will be honest, it is a prettier resort but they are both still motels (as opposed to hotels) and my husband did not think it was worth the extra $. Although I did think the atmosphere was much nicer, we really didn't have time to utilize any of the extras at CBR. I will also be honest...we stayed at Hard Rock Hotel for one night at the end of our stay and we were surprised and delighted. Don't get me wrong - I am still a huge Disney fan!

Enjoy your trip whatever you decide!!

CBR for sure. The atmosphere is so much more relaxed than at All stars. Just back and it was great. We spent a lot of time at the pool. Cancel a sit down meal if ness. to stay at the CBR, you will be glad you did.

CBR gets my vote. I have stayed at all AS, music is my least favorite. However the main reason I vote for CBR is that it is so much more relaxing. The quiet pools are very nice, minimal numbers of people, we never had trouble finding chairs, even during 90 degree days. The rooms are much larger. We had very little traffic past our room, never any problem with outside noise. The CBR is worth the extra $100.

Lakoda, I'm with you, I LOVED :D my stay at HRH so much that I now make it tradition to go to both when I have my Florida vacation, to me they go hand-in-hand! I love them both, one does not take away from the other! To me its like enjoying best of both worlds! This year I'm going to Disney first then Royal Pacific. Can't think of a better way to spend my vacation. Have a Disney Day:D

Why not start at ASMU and then 1/2 way through switch to CBR? Then you will be saving money, and staying somewhere different, as well!!!
