Advice... a friend and I are each bringing our children (ages 11 and 6)... right now we're looking at connecting rooms at ASmovies. I'm curious about changing to the CBR... I am more a Beach Club type person, so I'm not sure the Movies will feel comfortable any more! Can CBR accommodate 4 people comfortably?

We stayed at CBR in June. We were in Aruba 54. The room is very spacious and can accomodate 4 people very easy. There is a lot of storage space and there are two sinks with a privacy curtain outside the bathroom. Housekeeping was great and gave us all the extra towels, soap, etc. that we needed.( I did leave a tip each day) We were near a bus stop and never waited more that 10min. It was a good 8-10 min walk to the food courts and main pool. We didn't mind the walk. The grounds are beautiful and it does make you feel like you are at the beach. Go for it!!!!

I agree with Mrs. P.............

CBR is the way to go. ASMO is nice, but the rooms are really small. Even with just two of us, we found it to be a little cramped.

On the other hand, CBR's rooms are ALOT bigger and the extra storage is worth every penny. Besides, CBR is just beautiful, and if you're a Beach Club person, CBR is the next best choice!

I've stayed at both recently. For the price, I prefer the movies (we also had two rooms at a rate of $49). But, if the four of you can comfortably fit in the beds at CBR, I would go with CBR. The rooms are spacious enough and the resort is very relaxing. the kids are just the right age for the water slide. Have fun!!!

CBR rooms are much more comfortable than those at ASMo, and they would fit 4 easily. However, if you are looking at connecting rooms at ASMo, that would be comfortable too (I wouldn't recommend 4 in one room at ASMo). The kids will love it at either one, but if you are a BC type, then you'll like the CBR better.

Difficult choice, but both are great resorts. Some things may help you make your decision. How long will you be staying? Will you be spending most of your time in the parks or at the resort? Do you like to stay up later than the kids? CBR-great pools, which means you have more choices if the main pool is crowded. Beautiful grounds for walking, playing in the sand at the beaches, and a large playground. The island is fun too. Also bike and water craft rental available. The rooms are very spacious, tons of storage. Pluses to ASMo-advantage of two rooms, for privacy and extra bathroom. Bus service is good, only one stop at resort. My kids seem to love the food court better, not quite sure why? More activity, good selections. Theming is so fantastic for young children, you really feel like you are staying at Disney!
Just something to consider, if your stay is long, switch so that you can enjoy both resorts.

This trip will be short, so switching resorts is out of the question. We're only going to be at WDW for 3 nights before heading out on a 7 night DCL cruise.

When I told my daughter last night that we were going to be staying at ASMovies instead of Beach Club - she was NOT happy! In her words "the pools are boring there!". You say the CBR has better pools? I saw the word slide...

We are the types that tend to head back to the hotel around dinner time, and stay there... so comfort in a hotel room is a must. Since we will be there between Christmas and New Years - peak time, which hotel, when full, feels most crowded?
