We are booked for ASmo. My DH, DD5,DS2, and myself. If we were to bring another adult could we still use ASmo? I understand it will be tight. We really are only gong to be there to sleep. I am just not to sure what they consider 4 to a room.

OH geeze! You are going to get a ton of responses. They are going to tell you if you want extra magic hour you'll need room keys for everyone (although from what I hear about EMH, it sucks and way overcrowded so the key is to avoid it). Then they are going to say it's policy, only 4 to a room (fire regs, etc). I'll tell you this, when I was in college we use to jam 6 in a room and no one was ever the wiser, what could I say we couldn't afford it! So can you put 5 in a an all star, yes, but it will be tight and formally it's against the rules. But I'm sure this will be a two page thread.

You mention that one of the children is aged 2...so this shouldn't be a problem. Children that age don't require tickets, so there's no 'resort ID' for that child with respect to EMH.

You can fit a crib, though it will be tight.

I'm sure it will be fine.

I agree. It'll be tight but you'll be fine. The 2 year old doesn't count as a "5th person".

Have fun!!!!!

Yes, you absolutely can do it legally. The All Stars occupancy is 4 people, plus 1 under 3 (or 2 and under, however you say it) in a crib.

We have done it with myself, DH, my mother and our 2 kids when they were 5 & 2. We put the crib over near the window and did fine with space. I would do it again if they were still young enough. :goodvibes

***Edited to add...you may need to pay the extra adult fee of $10.00 per night. They have been known to waive that fee at times though. ;)

The rooms at the values are both 260 square feet.
The POP rooms seem smaller because the bed is closer to the door with a bigger gap being between the bathroom wall and the far bed. At All-Stars this gap is wider.

You will notice in POP pic the bed is closer to the door by looking at how close the headboard is while at Movies you have a little more room.
The beds at POP are Bolted to the floor so you can't move them.
You can move the beds at All Stars so you can push one the beds against the wall.
Thus giving you more usuable floor space.
Here is the map of All Movies.

The Fantasia Buildings are the preferred buildings.
The All Star Movie Fantasia pool has Mickey.
It is a great place to stay .
Preschoolers love it.
It is like being in the middle of a Disney Movie Fantasyland..

The All Star resorts are all within walking distance of each other and you are welcome to use any of the pools at any of the ALL Stars.
The buses are wonderful.

Bus rides are quite short from the ALL Stars according to PassPorter.com

All Star Buses-CBR buses---POPbuses--PO buses--- Contemporary
MK 20 min---- 20 min-----25 min------10 min---20 min(mono)
Epcot 10 min-- 15 min-----20 min------10 min---15 min
MGM 10 min----12 min-----15 min------15 min---20min
AK 10 min------20min-------15min----15 min---20 min
DTD 15 min----20 min------20 min-----15 min---35 min

It only takes 10 minutes to get to Epcot,MGM and AK from All Stars.
MK is 20 min away. That's the same amount of time it takes on the monorail from the Contemporary.

I am 55 years old and travel several times a year. I often stay at 4 star hotels.
So the deluxe resorts do not have anything special for me.
All Star is like being in the heart of the Magic and that is where I want to be.

I have visited WDW more than a dozen times with the 1st time in Oct. 1971. It was brand new. :cloud9: I've stayed at FW, Disney Inn, a few the of Hotels on hotel Blvd., CBR and the towers at the Contemporary. I got to see the MK from my balcony at the Contemporary and I'm happy I got to experience it once. :flower: I just prefer the All Star Resorts.
The theaming is pure Disney. :earsboy: :earsgirl:
My last 4 visits have been at The All Stars and this fall when we take dd,dsil, and our grandson age 3 we are staying at the All Stars Music. I thought about AKL and even though we can well afford AKL I just wanted Alex to experience the Disney Magic :wizard: at the All Stars on his first visit.
Where else can one find Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse at the pool?
Have a great time at Disney!

Have fun at Disney.

We are staying at ASMo for the first time in 12 days...we are a family of 4, and my mom is coming with us. We got two rooms...BUT...my kids are 6 and 10.

I think it's totally do-able for you since you have a 2 year old, but if space is an issue, you might want to consider PORiverside...in Alligator Bayou. They have trundle beds and they sleep 5. They are only a little more expensive than values. We stayed there last year, even though there were only the 4 of us, and my youngest (he was 5) loved sleeping on the trundle bed. My oldest loved sleeping alone :rotfl: and POR is a beautiful resort! Just another option for you to check out!

You won't have any problem whatsoever, and it is perfectly "legal". If your youngest can sleep in a pack'n'play, it fits wonderfully between the dresser and the little wall by the bathroom. If you're taking an airbed instead, you can put it by the window and just lean it up against the wall during the day.
They may very well charge you because the "4 to a room occupancy" for the price only includes 2 adults. And at the mods, it's at least $15/night for a 3rd adult, even when the room can sleep 5 people.

Have a great time!

your 2 year old does not count in the room total. Therefore 3 adults and one 5 year plus one baby in a crib is legal and fine at any resort.
