ASMo vs. POFQ ??

We are going late September into October. Currently we are staying at ASMo, but we are considering going to POFQ. We have a 4 year old that loves Toy Story and Fantasia, but me and my wife are used to WL after going there the last two stays. We have stayed at AS before back in 99, and have gotten used to bigger resorts. We will notice a big change. We are not staying at our hotel too much. How is the bus service between the two hotels? Please help!!!

DH and I stayed at POFQ for our honeymoon in 2000 and we just got back from ASMo in July with DS4(tomorrow )We stayed in the Toy Story building and DS was thrilled with the theming. So much so, that the day we were packing to leave he was in tears because he thought we moved there permanently! I think that if you are going for your child, ASMo will be a bigger hit with a 4 yr old. If you were going just for the two of you, I would go to POFQ. The best thing (transportation-wise) about POFQ is the convenience of the boat launch to downtown disney. With a 4 yr old, you are not going to be going to Pleasure Island very often, so it doesn't really count as a plus in my mind.

We are heading back in Sept/Oct and are staying at CBR. I picked that resort because my DS loves the beach and there was a lot of recreational things to do there (renting bicycles, boats, etc). Had THIS been our first trip to WDW we would be going to ASMo all over again. The theming at ASMo is a must see for a preschooler's first time IMO.
