ASMo Kiddie Pool for 4yr and 17mths

This will be our 10th trip but our first time staying at an Allstar. Do they have kiddie pools and can my 17mth old splash around with a little swimmer and swim trunks on?? What are the depths of the pool? We never used the pools before, but this time I think we might spend a day there relaxing. Love these boards, they have been a great help this time. Wish I knew about them 6 years ago.

Your kids will love ASMo! The kiddie pool is right by the Fantasia pool. The pool there only goes up to 2 ft...if that. There is a whale there that shoots water. Pretty kewl. My kids (then 2 and 4) enjoyed the big pool and the kiddie pool.

BTW...at the food court...you kids can enjoy eating while at the same time they can watch tv. It is located at the corner.

Thank you very much for the info. How about the little swimmers? I know they sell plastic swim diapers at the resorts, but his trunks have a plastic lining in them.

Then I think he will be fine. When we stayed the first time at ASMo..my daughter was only 18 months. She wore a bathing suit with the built in leak-free plastic lining...she did fine. The souvinier store there do sell them. Well...I'm sure they still do.

First off, welcome to the Dis, Ga Girl!

Our first stay at ASMO was when my kids were 4 1/2 & 20 months. We went in the Mighty Ducks pool once(we are hockey fans) and then spent the rest of our pool time at the kiddie pool. It was perfect for them. My youngest could splash around and my oldest even met some friends to hang out with there. They had loads of fun. We then went back a year later, after we had gotten a pool at home and both kids had become fish, so the kiddie pool didnt cut it anymore.
One word of caution though, be careful with the little one walking near the whale. Mine hit his face on, I believe it was the tail, and had a bruise for the rest of the trip.
