So, I am checking in to ASM on Tuesday with my DS5 and we both have severe asthma so we always get guaranteed non smoking noted on the reservation. Well, due to getting the Priceline deal thing, I wasn't sure how to proceed. Priceline says to contact hotel for questions. So I caled Dis reservations this morning and I inputted my Hotel confirmation number and answered all of the questions and a CM phone person came on the line. She asked my name, gave it, and she said I wasn't in the system.
So, I said I have to be in there somewhere and I need to get a guaranteed NS room. And I said it was a Priceline reservation. She puts me on hold, comes back and tells me to call priceline and she can't do anything for me. So I asked for special services/ADA desk and she didn't have a clue. So I was put on hold again. Voices talking in the background told her to send me to the main switchboard since she didn't know what to do.
So, I go to the main switchboard, a nice lady asks what resort I need and when I am checking in and I get transferred to ASM front desk. CM asks my name, I give it, and she asks what I need. I tell her a guarantee NS room and state how hard it has been to get help with this one little request. She says ok - I've put you in a guaranteed NS PREFERRED room. So I tell her that we are there for 2 nights with 2 different reservation numbers - she attaches them together so we don't have to move! What a nice woman!
So, if you get a CM who doesn't know what to do with PRICELINE requests, wait until 5 days before your arrival date so you are in the hotel system and call the front desk!
