Asking for help for elementary school aged student geography lesson

Ok everyone, I need a little help please...... I'm starting a new unit with my gifted students on geography and would love to get some postcards or even just an email to the class with a little note that tells where you're from and an interesting fact about your town. I thought about putting a picture of my kids asking for the information but decided against it for security reasons...So here is the info....
