askerhaus and coral reef - if you have been, what dishes did you really like or

are your favorites? I really (don't mean to sound dismssive) only want to hear of positive experiences b/c i know many people don't like either of these places. Oh, these are for dinner, thanks!!!

We went to Coral Reef back in February and loved it! I got the NY Strip Steak with au gratin potatoes and broccolini and it was by far the best steak I had the whole trip. Great service and fantastic food.

Haven't been to Akershus since it changed to the Princess thing, so I can't help there.

The mahi mahi at Coral Reef was excellent. We were there in early August.

Ate dinner at Akershus in June and we all chose the Traditional Kjottkake (just like a meatloaf) that was served with fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. The dessert platter was very good too. It was one of the best meals of our entire trip!

Haven't been to Coral Reef in years, but went to Akershus in June.

We had the Traditional Norwegian meal, the pork & the salmon & the kids cheese pizza. All were good, nothing amazing but good. Cold bar had some good salads, and DH loved having the different types of herring.

The Land and Sea appy at CR is the best thing I ate last trip. It was just SO good!!! I had the steak for dinner, and since you only want positive feedback, I'll just say that the potatoes that came with it were great!

I had the catfish and DH had the mahi at CR ... both were fab. The boys got cups of the lobster bisque and it was terrific.

DH loves the kjottkaker at Akershus ... scary name for a regular ol' well-seasoned meatloaf. I liked the salmon.

DH had the steak and I had the Mahi-Mahi at Coral Reef. DS had the Mahi-Mahi from the kid's menu.

We all really liked it. Great food and great service in a wonderful atmosphere.

I got the steak at Coral Reef-yummy! Dh got the Mahi mahi and enjoyed that as well. DD got the chicken dish and wished she had gotten the steak. Not that the chicken was bad (it was actually quite yummy) but she was lusting after my steak. I shared, like the good mommy I am

DH had the pork chop and I had the Mahi Mahi. Both were very good. We are going again this January. The chocolate wave dessert was soo good with the brandied cherries. No appy's for us.

At CR I had the NY steak with au gratin potatoes. DELICOUS!!!! My dh had the crab legs and loved them. I don't think they offer those anymore though. We have never been to Akershus but we are going in about 144 days.
