Asked to reschedule

I was asked to reschedule my volunteer time for one at a later date and confirmed the new date with the project manager.

Do I also need to confirm the new date through Disney or the HOV program?

I would check and see if it's reflected in your registration. In the end, you really just need to make sure that it shows the organization tells Disney that you did it and that it is in fact a Disney voluntEAR event. Since I like to cover all of my bases, I would contact Disney directly just to check. I know there has been a lot of confusions and questions with this promotion because it is so new ad involves facets that previous promotions did not. Best of luck!!

I would - just to be sure there isn't any confusion in the system later on. It's easy to go into your account and edit the date, I had to do it on mine.

Thanks!
Just re-checked my account and had to add a last min member.

But, they are saying that they are waiting verification for me and dbf and we haven't volunteered yet! We won't be there until tomorrow (Thurs.) afternoon. Or has the old date passed and the PM won't verify it until we show up?

Should we double check or show this to the Project Manager?

In my case it said "Pending Verification" for 3 days after my Coordinator verified me, this was 1 day after the date of service. Then it updated and I got the e-mail with the link to print my vouchers.

Our volunteer event was cancelled and eventually rescheduled with a new date due to the back-to-back blizzards in Maryland. For days I got a message that said we'd missed our opportunity & it wouldn't let me edit or re-apply until the Hands On people went into the system to edit it on their end. Once they finally gave me a new date for the event I had to basically go in & start over & put in the new date. DH cannot go on the rescheduled date so I am finding something else for him to do. But I am still getting emails that he missed his activity even though I am signing him up for something else...:confused3 He is going to make some ribbons for a MADD group now instead and I have to drive to VA today to pick up the materials. Their volunteer coordinator told me to wait & use the date that we actually return the completed ribbons as his volunteer date so we will finish his registration next week whenever I get the ribbons returned. It's all been very confusing between having to sign up on the GAD / Hands On website AND the individual organizations. I am just crossing my fingers that our rescheduled event doesn't get cancelled due to weather again next week and that putting DH in separately for a 2nd event works out. It has certainly turned into a pain.
