We put of GAD fastPass Exchange card in the one special uncovered machine at TestTrack, and I was not getting fastpass tickets. I was not getting "not a valid fastpass" tickets either. The attendant was reluctant to do anything about it and trying to say that I had used it up, but I told him that then, I would get a "not a valid fastpass" ticket. I fussed enough that another attendant came over and checked the machine and sure enough, it was out of paper. I stuck in my cards, and got fastpasses!

Fortunately it didn't eat your credits without giving you the pass...I guess there is a sensor that detects that it didn't issue the pass. You'd think that would also come with a little blinking light in the back to let the CM know...

Thanks for the heads up! I've read a few posts about issues with the GAD fast passes and now I'm nervous that something will happen to me next month while I'm trying to redeem mine. I have about 3 and a half weeks to decide which park to use them in.
