Ask Me Anything: Ask FloridaDreamlel Anything

Hi Kaylee,

I'm a bit old for crushes now but I do have pictures of Robbie Williams up in the study so you could say I have a crush on him

No, touch wood, I've never broken a bone although I did once stub my toe really bad and I'm sure that was broken

Mrs Robbie Williams.......no only kidding...erm probaly just change Lesley to something like Madeline or Elizabeth

:lmao: Nice one!

Good afternoon Lesley,

Where do you do most of your grocery shopping?

Have you ever ordered your shopping on-line?

Do you shop on-line for anything else?

What type of pet would you like to own?

What's your best feature?

What di you think is your worst feature?

Have a good one! :lmao: :goodvibes

Hi Lesley

Really sorry to hear about your daughter's finger, I was sat here cringing reading that, it sounds terribly painful, hope she is lots better today.

What was the last text message you received?

What was the last text message you sent?

Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?

When and where is your next holiday?

Laur's princess:

I really glad she's fine Lesley :goodvibes

How long did it take to catch up with your questions yesterday?
Have you now recovered from both catching up and your trip to A&E ;)

That's it for now cos I gotta go catch up with some work myself but don't worry I'll be back

Hiya Annmarie,

Thank you, kids are so resilliant aren't they

It took a good couple of hours yesterday before I'd finally answered them all :faint: I'm such a slow typer

I think I can safely say I'm now recovered thanks

Cya l8er

Right Lesley, as promised I'm back and I'm going to give you the same questions I just gave Sue, nice easy ones ;)

where do you stand on the death penalty?
what do you think of our justice system?
do you think our police should carry guns?
where do you stand on corporal punishment?
do you think parents should be allowed to smack their children?

Hi Annmarie again,

I personally think they aught to bring the death penalty back....a life for a life etc.....we are suffering enough with over-crowded prisons and it's us the tax payers who are keeping them. If you can prove beyond reasonable doubt that someone is guilty of calculated murder then I say give them the lethal injection like they do in America...sorry I'm ranting

I think our justice system stinks....people get off too lightly imho

Yes definately

That's a toughy....there is a fine line between corporal punishment and torture. Where do we draw it?

Another toughy...I was smacked as a child and it never did me any harm and I'm not ashamed to say that I have in the passed smacked my children but it has usually been a tap on the back of the hand or bottom and never done in anger. There is also a fine line between smacking and hitting and it depends on the individual how far this can be taken. Some people can loose their tempers quite easily with a child and end up going too far. Sticky argument this really as I know alot of people are dead against smacking and I could go on for hours but I'll just leave it there I think.

Serious questions Annmarie  have you been watching Panorama or something?:rotfl:

Me again (stop that groaning Lesley:rotfl:) you'll be pleased to hear that I won't be around much, if at all, at the weekend so I have to get all my questions in now:lmao:

This morning I was trying to teach my DD 7 how to rrrrrrrroll her rrrrrrrrs so she could purrrrrrrr like a cat (don't ask ;) ) - so tell me can you:

roll your rrrrrs?
roll your tongue?
Wink with both eyes or just one - if just one which one ?
are you left or right handed?
do you have one foot bigger than the other?
which side of the bed do you sleep on?
what is your favourite sandwich filling?
what is your worst habit?
do you and your DH have pet names for each other?
Have you ever 'let off' and not let on?
have you ever 'let off' and blamed someone else?
and finally, have you ever laughed so hard you leaked?

Annmarie...have you nothing better to do

Yep I can rrrrrrroll my rrrrrrrrr's, and it was fun trrrrrrrying

Yep again, it's my party trick, I can turn my tongue over both ways and curl it up at either side aswell

Yes it's called blinking :lmao: no seriously I can wink with both eyes individually

I'm right handed but you'd be suprised at what I can do with my left hand ;)

Hasn't everyone??

If you're stood looking at the bed from the bottom I'm on the right, if laid down it's left...if you know what I mean

I'm a sucker for egg mayonnaise.....yum yum

My DH would say it's leaving the top off the toothpaste

It's a family tradition on DH side that all the females are called Clarice and all the males are called Claude :confused3 hence I get Clarice and he gets anything I can think of at the time!

No I'm like the queen I don't let off!!! Anyway with two other windy bottoms (DH & DD) competing for the coverted trophy there's no need to blame anyone else cos we all know who did it :lmao:

I don't need to laugh to leek :sad2: running, shouting, coughing, sneezing and anything else energetic normally does the trick  ......just call me Mrs Tena Lady :scared1:

:lmao: Nice one!

Hi Audrey,

Most of my shopping is done at Asda and yes I always do it on line. As there is 5 of us...a lot of food....I do a monthly shop and it's too much to carry from the supermarket.

I love shopping on-line and most of it is done that way....I'm not like a normal female as I hate shopping

If we had the room I'd love to own a horse

I've been told I have lovely eyes :confused3 don't know if thats true but I like to think I have a good sense of humour

The list is endless....

Laur's princess:

She's alot better today, thank you, it's just aching alot now.

It was from Orange and I didn't read it cos it will have just been rubbish so I deleted it straight away

Funny you should ask as I've just sent one to DH, who is out at the mo, saying "U will have to help Josh with his maths homework cos Ive lost patience!" self-explanatory really

That would be DH telling me what time he'd be home

  Our next holiday is to WDW :yay: in 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days time :cool1:  :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

Hi Lesley,

So sorry, looks like you've been neglected:sad2:

Hope you are well?

How did you first find the Dis boards?

Did you lurk a long time before you started your first thread?

Do you use a lot of candles?

Do you use those plug in airfresheners?

Do you have any plans for Tonight?

Do you do anything special on a Sunday?

Will you be cooking a roast?

Thanks.:goodvibes

Hi Audrey,

Yes thanks I'm very well today :thumbsup2

I find the DIS boards purely by accident. I was looking for sites about Disney and DIS came up. I found it really interesting and book marked it.

I lurked for a few months before I plucked up the courage to ask questions. I still don't contribute that much really, I like to read what other people write and everyone else seems to be more interesting than I am anyway pirate:

I only use candles at Christmas. With having lots of children around all the time it's a bit risky any other time:scared:

I do have a couple of plug-ins but to be honest I find the scents too overpowering and I unplug them after 10 mins

Very unusual for me but yes I'm going out tonight  nothing very spectacular. My DH is in a play- 'Brassed Off' at the Lamproom Theatre in Barnsley- and I'm taking my eldest DS and my parents to see it.

Nope not really. DH goes for a round of golf (yawn) and I just potter. My Mum & Dad usually come for lunch

We always try and have a roast dinner on a Sunday and it's DH who cooks it, he's a brilliant cook

TTFN

Lesley I'm sorry I haven't been around this week, lack of broadband at home and either really busy or not in work. anyway I hope you really enjoyed it.

have you ever tried fake tan?
false nails?
hair extensions?
wax or shave?
pedicure or manicure?
what colour nail polish on your hands and feet?
what brand make up?
what brand moisturiser?
do you touche eclait?

Hi Carol,

Once when I was younger I tried it but it went streaky...never again....I like to stay pale and interesting

Used to wear them till I stopped biting my nails, now I don't have to

Never tried hair extensions

shave

Never had either

None, very rarely wear it and if I do it's usually a dark red/mauve colour

Any as I rarely wear make-up it doesn't matter to me what brand

I don't moisturise but I did buy some of that Garnier summer body stuff to try

touche what :confused3

Interesting questions ;)

Hi Audrey :wave2:

I absolutely love  Harry Potter films. The next one is released on the day we fly to Florida so guess what we'll be going to see when we get there

Yes I've read all the books and they are brilliant. I'm just reading the Order of the Pheonix one again to remind myself about the story line in time for the movie.

Can't remember when but we went to see Narnia :thumbsup2

We have broadband....so quick

No never

I don't mind flying although I do get nervous but I have to try and show a brave face for the children :teeth: I just keep telling myself that it is, statistically, the safest way to travel

I'll go with anyone (airlines that is;) )
