Hi All

Am going to DLRP from Ashford next year ( March) I have been trying to find out more information about parking there - the information I find seems to contradict itself. I can't really get a definitive answer on where the car parks are, a cost and whether or not you can pre-pay?

Any help is most welcome as the other times I have to DLRP i have gone from London or gotten a deal with a taxi/car parking at a different hotel.

The car park is connected to the station via a covered walkway - about 200 yards separating the two buildings. It costs £11 for each day you park there and you pay on your return, so don't lose your ticket!

I've always found it very easy. Yes it's a little pricey, but there are never queues getting in and out and it's nice to be in the car and on the road just a few minutes after coming through passport control.

We always park there too. Tip: park on level 5, as this is the same level as the walkway meaning you don't have to wait about on lifts etc

There is also the option to park in Car Park D, which is on your left as you drive up to the station. It's a bit further away but you pay £5 per day instead of £11. We used this one for our last trip and it was no hassle - DH dropped us and the bags at the station before taking the car back to the car park.
