Argggg!!! all the planning and I forgot our nonexpire tickets at home!
DW and I had 3 days left on our old tickets for a 5 day trip.
DW insisted on checking through all the luggage but I packed all the luggage and I knew I didnt pack the tickets...
I had confirmation numbers for all our flights and dinners written down but never even thought about our tickets!
The front desk at BWV said we would have to check with guest services at a park to see if they could help us.
I'm surprised they couldnt do anything with just our name. One problem was we didnt have the same credit card that we purchased the tickets with...Things were not looking good.
Our room wasnt ready so we checked our luggage and started walking to the Epcot entrance to talk to guest relations. As we were talking about our situation the couple in front of us turned and the woman said " did I hear that you dont have tickets? " she was a disney employee and said she would be glad to let us in on her pass ( which allows 4 people ) This also was a park hopper so we could spend a late night at MK that night!. Things were looking better. So instead of talking to guest services we went to the UK and ate fish and chips. Then I had to endure being selected as King Arthur in the skit the comedy troup does. "WooHoo, Thats Me Baby!" After the show I checked my cell and our room was ready. On our way out we checked with guest services and found we needed the numbers printed on the tickets and they could re-issue them.
Long story made short, my DD (25 yrs) was able to go to our house and text the ticket numbers to us. ( I had bought new folder where the top and bottom are sealed. We kept all our disney papers and stuff in there. I grabbed all the papers but guessed that the tickets were still in there and they were). We were able to get the tickets reissued at MK sundat night.
So everything worked out and we were even able to get a couple hours in Epcot and a night in MK thanks to the Disney CM. she really made the day seem magical.
What a way to start.
