Himmmmming and haaaaaaaaing about when to book next March break flight and the prices keep going up. Flying from Toronto is my only option as I only have 5 days off and I'm trying to make the best of those five days.
So far the price for the flight YYZ -MCO --early morning dept ----and late dept from MCO was $640.00 ---now it's up around $740.00:faint: .Just can't figure out if these prices are going to continue to go up or if there is a possibility they may come down. :confused3
At this rate I may just be :moped: it to Disney.

Ahhhhhhh decisions

Hugs and thanks for listening
Mel

Hi bababear_50...

With WJ we usually book when we are happy with the price, knowing they will credit us if there is a seat sale (less the $40 change fee). One year we booked 6 seats and they had a 1 day sale where the price dropped $100 per ticket, so we received a $480 credit (the change fee was only $20 back then).

Not sure what AC's change policy is ..we don't fly with them much since they changed their pet policy.

Good Luck with your bookings!!

Christiane.

I would book now because the price of oil isn't coming down any time soon. The price for anything to do with it gas, jet fuel and diesel fuel is going to keep going up.

I would book now. I waited patiently to find a really great deal only to pay twice as much for my flights in September. I posed the same question as you six months back and should have listened:headache:
My tickets ended up being a wedding gift... but it still makes me nuts that they were twice as much:mad:
I know you said your only option is YYZ due to your short vacation time.. but have you thought of looking at Westjet out of Hamilton airport? It is only 30 or 40 minutes tops from YYZ and the fares are usually quite a bit cheaper.
Just a thought:)

I'm not sure where you live but.....its only a short 2 hour drive to Buffalo and the gas and parking costs are more than compensated for by the exteme difference in flight costs. Maybe there is some other reason why it has to be YYZ ?
Your $ savings could be as much as $500 - $1000 !:thumbsup2

Good morning all..
Just some further info,,,I work Sat afternoon shifts and evening shifts,,,partime weekends.
I am already going to Disney at Christmas but this was to be "mom's" little break away on her own trip,,booked OKW with left over points. I want to maximize the time --:goodvibes
the flight I was looking at is direct -YYZ Toronto -6:30am--arrive in MCO Orlando at 9:15am so I'd have most of the day to enjoy.
Then leaving following Friday at 8:30 pm arriving back in Toronto at 11pm,,again maximizing the amount of hours to enjoy my trip.
I finally hit the button this morning and bought through Red Tag.ca ,,Air Canada Direct flight with Taxes --total cost $707.00.CAD. Not the $299.00 I spent last year but sometimes a mom has to do what her heart says.
We will in the future if time and work allow try to utilize the Buffalo airport and the Mega bus transportation from Toronto.
Thanks for all your support
and HUGS
Mel:santa:
