AS for RFC--can I???

I made all my AS's but CRO told me I could not make one for RFC in DTD. She gave me a number to call (I am assuming its RFC's #) and told me to ask them if I could make an AS. Does anyone know if I could and if so how much in advance can I? We are leaving in 2 1/2 weeks.

I made a dinner reservation at Rainforest in DD even before the 90day AR window opened! Yes they do make reservations. Try the # they gave you.

I've alway heard that RFC at DTD doesn't take ressie's and the waits can be long. If you buy the Safari Club card in advance for $15 then you get priority seating plus either a free appetizer or 10% off your meal.

Has the policy on ADR's recently changed?

Hi i too tried to make an AR for RFC in DTD and was told I couldn't just to turn up there !!

Would anyone be able to PM me with the number to call to make a reservation.

It is my DH fave and I want to ensure we get there !!!

Unless the rules have changed since our last WDW trip (March 04), RFC at DTD does not allow AR's. I tried last year and was told the same info as stated in poohandpiglet's post. I was able to make AR's at the RFC in the Animal Kingdom, however they were for an early dinner - around 4ish - as the AK closed early in March. RFC is a chain and not actually a Disney restaurant so the only reason AR's are allowed at the AK location is probably because it is a curtiosy to WDW guests, being that it is adjacent to a park, as opposed to being in DTD. That's my thought anyhow. RFC in AK was nice and the food was okay - my children liked the theme so it was worth it.

I called the DTD RFC # directly and made a reservation for 8/9 no problem

I called this same # in February and made a reservation/PS/whatever it was called at the time without realizing I "couldn't" do it for RFC at DTD. Well, they took the reservation and we enjoyed our meal the next day!
I never realized until I came home and checked the boards more thoroughly (I had just joined) that there was any controversy about it.
