As bad as Big Thunder Mountain?

Is the new 7 Dwarfs Mine Ride going to be too bumpy for someone older? I'd love to see it but from the sound of it, it could be too much for anyone that worries about being jostled around too much. Although it's also for kids so how bad could it be????

I will be tamer than thunder mountain, but if you have neck or back problems, I'd wait to get a first hand review from someone.

No one knows yet, after all how could they? As PP suggested, wait until we get some firsthand reports and then we'll know more.

Maybe Dopey will post his experience. I saw him on video riding it last week. ;)

the word on the street (taken with a grain of salt since no one has actually ridden it yet) is that it is somewhere between BTMRR and Barnstormer - so sounds like a mild version of BTMRR...

As noted by the PPs, no one will know exactly how the ride feels until soft openings start. Dopey's not talkin' and I don't think he has access to the interwebs down there in the mine.

Judging by how well the wifi works above ground, I don't hold out much hope below ground. ;)

It's going to be a horrible, bumpy ride. Nobody over the age of 21 should get on it!!!!!

Seriously, it's in Fantasyland and I am sure it will be fine for "older" folks. I intend to ride it this summer with my DH and I am sure he is older than you are.

By the way, my 85 year old Father-in-Law rides "everything". Took him on Mission Space (before they have 2 versions). He got off and said, let's go again. He went on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, etc. He says, you only live once. Gotta Love Him! I want to be just like him.

Thanks all. I was just wondering if they were advertising it as a kiddie ride or thrill ride to give me an idea. Naturally once I get there in Oct, I should have more than enough research to make a decision. Thanks again and to all that make it before me.....ENJOY!

These posts are hilarious!

I'm hoping for something spectacular like Radiator Springs Racers but I have a feeling its going to be like the above poster stated "somewhere between barnstormer and Big Thunder".

I feel like they had the right idea by combining a dark ride with a coaster. They've had whats felt like several years to complete it so I'm reaching for the stars!

Thanks Sammie!
