As an adult, do you call your Aunt/Uncle by their first name only?

I have 3 older aunts, actually my grandmother's sisters that I still call Aunt and can't imagine just calling them by their first names, but I also have 2 younger aunts and an uncle who I do just call by their first names most of the time. I can't remember how that happened, but at some point I started just calling them by their first names and now that I think about it, so do my brother and sister.

All of my aunts and uncles are aunt/uncle so-and-so. I couldn't imagine calling them by their first name and was distinctly shocked the very first time I heard a friend do so in high school. Different strokes...

Can people indicate where they're from? I'm trying to figure out if there are geographic trends. I'm from Massachusetts and I've never known anybody who called their aunts/uncles by their first name. Maybe "Auntie Mary" or just "Auntie" without the name, but never "Mary." The only exception would be an uncle/aunt of the same generation (generally within 10-15 years).

My mother had an aunt she called by her first name even in the 1940s, but she was 12 when she was born -- they were almost siblings. My father had an uncle who was only 2 years older and they were raised as cousins more than anything.

But even now my friends and sister go by "Aunt/Uncle Firstname."

I call my husband's aunts and uncles by their first names only

I have always just called them by their first name. I would feel strange putting the "uncle" or "aunt" in front of their name.

I call them by Aunt or Uncle First name..or for my aunt, Auntie. Well all except one who we were not close to at all...I always just called him by his first name.

I always called my Aunt by her first name until I had kids then she became Auntie Karen. She signs her emails and texts as Auntie Karen. We love our Auntie Karen and would be lost without her.
