Aruba - 2 Ritz Carltons?

Looking to book an Aruba vacation. Was thinking of the Holiday Inn. Loved it there - 20 years ago- I was on Jet Blue looking at flights and was checking out their vacation deals. There are two Ritz Carltons. There is one that has only been opened for a couple of years. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it with the high rises near the Holiday Inn? Can you walk to everything? It is $1,600.00 cheaper than the other Ritz and about the same as the Holiday Inn. I read reviews on Trip Advisor. They received glowing reviews. What am I missing? Anyone?

I only know of one Ritz Carlton. It's at the end of Palm Beach. You could walk to restaurants, etc. but it is a bit of a hike. There's a path along the Ritz to the three Marriott properties, then to Moomba's and Holiday Inn. You can cut through the Holiday Inn to get to mall, restaurants, etc.

Can you post the links you found? My guess is the price difference is for different packages.

Also try TripAdvisor - you'll get responses from Aruba experts there. I know one guy is a huge R-C fan. The distance and beach aren't appealing to me, but the hotel is supposed to be lovely.

Looking at the Ritz Carlton website, there is only 1 RC hotel listed for Aruba.

Thanks guys. You are right. The reason that I was confused is because I was looking at a website that had a list of hotels including airfare. This hotel (Ritz) was listed and then about four down it said Ritz again with a completely different price. So, I thought there must be two why are they different prices -- all inclusive -- not all inclusive. Thanks everybody.
