Artwork question...

I'd like to buy the artwork of the stretching portraits from the Haunted Mansion and with no trip to Disney in the near future I've been checking out ebay for them. They appear to come in all sizes on ebay, some framed, some not, some just posters, some printed from Disneyland's "Print on Demand" thing.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows a rough estimate of how much the artwork would cost if I were to buy it in an art store at Disney World? Does artwork always come in a frame, or do you have to pay extra for that at the store? I've never bought artwork before and until I bid on ebay I want to know if I'm getting a deal or not. Also, has anyone seen these in a store before and could guess at what size they are?

I got as far as getting the phone number for the Art of Disney store at Downtown Disney (407) 828-3929, but I have to call during business house so hopefully I can get the info. this weekend. Thanks for everyone's help!

You may also want to try 3812 or 2231. I am not sure if that number you posted is correct anymore. Their fax number is 407-934-6644. BTW, their phones have an answering machine, so you can leave a message. Our opperating hours at the Marketplace are 9:30am to 11pm ET Sunday - Thursday, 9:30am to 11:30pm Fri-Sat.

AOD does sell poster art, and yes, you can have it framed but it costs more $$$. I don't know off the top of my head of they have the items you are looking for anymore. They do have an Art on Demand machine there, but I don't know if they have those loaded on that machine. The Disney Gallery in DL does, I think.
