Artists' Point?

I booked an ADR at Artists' Point for one night of our August stay. The CM said "if you want a window seat you will have to request it at the podium when you arrive"

Why would I want a window seat, what is there to see? Never been to Wilderness lodge so a bit confused there.

Also, is it a MK area resort, we have never been so are a bit unsure as to how to get there. We have visited the Contemporary and GF. Can anyone help?

We have been there before But it was dark so I couldn't tell you what you would see out the window (Maybe the pool/overlooking the lake??)

It is in the MK area, if you are driving you head straight for the MK and it is signposted from there.

Wilderness Lodge is a lovely hotel Enjoy!

Yes, the windows overlook the pool area/lake. I'm always too busy with the food to notice!

I got the same advice when I rang to book an ADR for our trip later this month. I was intrigued too, as we have never been there before either.

After doing a search, I found a website with a restaurant review that referred to the view "overlooking Silver Creek Falls, a beautifully landscaped waterfall and stream".

Hi Enright78,

We've eaten at AP several times over the years and have made two ADR's for September.

There are nice views overlooking the upper courtyard, but not getting a window seat won't spoil your experience of this restaurant.

If it is light then a window seat is pleasant but it is not necessary to enjoy the meal. You can get a boat from the Magic Kingdom to the hotel. The food is excellent!
