Artist Point window seats?

I just booked a PS for here and I mentioned to her it would be celebrating our anniversary. She mentioned requesting a window seat when we check in.

What is special about the window seats?

A view of anything out the windows, would be more romantic than a view of other diners. Also, a window seat provides you with a little more privacy. We love AP. Hope you have a wonderful aniversary meal.

Just a note about window seats at AP. You may end up with a view of one of the guest room balconies as well. Although our dining experience was lovely we had a view of a really large guy with a very hairy back and no shirt on out on his balcony sipping champagne with his sweetie... ick.. not a plesant view

We just came back and had a window seat. I told them it was our 10th Anniversary. They put us in a window seat in the corner. It was dark, but you could still see some lighting outside, but more than that, it was nice and cozy not being seated next to other tables....although the tables arent too close in AP anyway.

They gave us personalized menus congratulating us on our 10th and each of us a glass of port wine with dessert to celebrate. Not my kind of wine, but it was a great gesture. Luis was our waiter and was excellent. He had lots of tips for us on Washington wines, etc and was just attentive enough without hovering, you know? He even took our picture for us when I asked!

Get the coffee two ways for dessert...YUM!!!! We have never had a bad meal there!!!

This will also be our 10th anniversary. Sounds like the window seats might be nice, but not something to long for.

I'll be sure to mention it is our anniversary again, though!

Just another note about AP... definately mention it's your aniversary. We had it noted on our reservation that it was our honeymoon and they gave us a free berry cobler for desert! It was to die for! In fact, I think we may go back there just for the desert

At the same time - it was well noted on our recent visit we were there for our anniversary and the waitress never noticed or commented. Not so much as a Happy Anniversary from her. It was still a good meal, just no special touches.
