first, what are your general thoughts on AP? We've never been and are kicking it around for next trip. Second, is the taste of the pacific prix fixe meal available on the dining plan? Thanks much.

Our DVC home is at Wilderness Lodge and AP has recently gotten a new Chef who has brought the restaurant back to its former great self. We ate there a couple weeks ago and all in our party from age 7 to 67 loved our choices, fish, steak, pasta...all great! Do not miss the mushroom soup! Even the picky eater 7 year old sluped it up. Our wait staff was excellent also!

We ate there in October and it is our second favorite signature meal after Jiko. The food is delicious and we've had great service during our visits

It's my favorite WDW restaurant in my favorite WDW resort. Counting the days to my ADR in June :donald: I'm a sucker for seafood, game, charcuterie &cheese, Artist Point has all that wrapped in a blue cheese stuffed dirty martini...I gotta stop myself, Im getting too hungry :D

We had an incredible meal at Artist Point. It was the first time we had heard of Copper River Salmon, which is only available three weeks a year. After we had it there, DW would go to some expensive grocery store in Nashville that wouldn't accept checks as it was the only place around that carried it. It is to salmon what filet mignon is to cube steak. We would enjoy it every summer.

We had a really, really good meal at AP two years ago...and the service was top notch. It's not a 'go to every year' place for me (really, no place is, too many other options to try), but it's seriously good, and it's definitely on my go back list!

I'm glad to hear that Artist Point has a new chef. My wife and I ate there for a 25th anniversary trip several years ago and it was an outstanding experience. The food and service were fantastic. A few years later I took the whole family and it was not good. The food was so-so and the service was lacking. We may give it another try. Cheers!!!!

This was my meal at AP. The best meal hands down I've had at Disney. My husband would agree. This was Halibut with roasted tomato risotto and grilled baby bok choy, micro greens. It was so good. The charcuterie is amazing. Cheese selection, wines, and that smoked mushroom soup? Slap someone delicious! AP will not disappoint.

We ate there last november and had a great experience. I've read about poor dining experiences there, but luckily, we've never had one. The food was wonderful and the cheese course was outstanding.

The service impressed me also. I was there solo a couple of years ago and I hadn't requested any particular view, but they seated me by the window where I could see the geyser. This was so nice.

They are truly back to their former selves. I think it is in the running for best signature also.

We've been to AP many times over the years. It's where we had our first meal as a couple, where we had our wedding party dinner (after getting married at WL), where we've had anniversary dinners, and where we've had numerous dinners as our romantic, go-to spot. A few years ago, AP hit a rough patch. While it wasn't exactly bad dining, the thoughtfulness, execution, and service of the dinners were inconsistent. One meal would be great, the next mediocre on one level or another. A new chef was brought in about two years ago, along with some new management, and AP once again found itself among the best restaurants on property. Our two meals after the new chef were both superb, as was the service. If, indeed, yet another chef has arrived and with reports this exemplary, then we're doubly excited about our reservation there in May. The ambiance has always been a highlight at AP, even during their rocky times. We almost always do an early ADR, request a window seat, then sit back and relax with a great meal and view.
