We've been to AP many times over the years. It's where we had our first meal as a couple, where we had our wedding party dinner (after getting married at WL), where we've had anniversary dinners, and where we've had numerous dinners as our romantic, go-to spot. A few years ago, AP hit a rough patch. While it wasn't exactly bad dining, the thoughtfulness, execution, and service of the dinners were inconsistent. One meal would be great, the next mediocre on one level or another. A new chef was brought in about two years ago, along with some new management, and AP once again found itself among the best restaurants on property. Our two meals after the new chef were both superb, as was the service. If, indeed, yet another chef has arrived and with reports this exemplary, then we're doubly excited about our reservation there in May. The ambiance has always been a highlight at AP, even during their rocky times. We almost always do an early ADR, request a window seat, then sit back and relax with a great meal and view.
