Victoria and Albert's?

My DH and I are stealing a night away from the kids. Right now we're booked at Artist Point, but my heart (and stomach) are longing to go back to V&A.

Can anyone give me a sample of what is currently on their menu? We dined there in Aug. 2005 and I thought I had read recently that they changed one of the courses - maybe the soup course or the fish course?

Also, I know the menu changes, but how significantly? And I'm assuming the changes reflect the season. I really enjoyed our meal there last August.

Any advice? How can I convince DH to make the switch? It was hard enough to get him to agree to AP (I am more the foodie than he is although he takes more risks trying new foods).

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm...I just can't pass up that Smokey Portobello Soup, the wonderful salad, entree and cobbler on the prix fix menu at Artist Point. It is outstanding.

V&A's is nice..but we like that for more of a special occasion. It is so loud in there, drives us crazy.
