Is Artist Point worth going to before the sun sets or does it not matter?

Debating on this or Jiko but I'd like to get the latest reservation possible, anyone know if that's in the 8:00 or 9:00 (or later) hour?

It seems like we had a 9:30 seating this past February. We've only been after dark and the architecture of the restaurant really stands out against the dark windows.

I'm not sure if the view is anything spectacular as you either face the Contemporary Resort & Bay Lake or the tall trees toward the rest of the Lodge & Ft. Wilderness.

I think Artist Point is more beautiful during daylight. It is very light with high ceilings. For Jiko I think it looks better if it is dark outside. There is not much of a view and they do intersting things with their lighting, so I think the effect is better later in the day.

For checking the last available time I would try out the new online ADR system on the Website and see what is available. I am pretty sure we had a 9 pm reservation once for Jiko.
